My Garden and the Spring

It is spring in my garden
roses are blooming
cuckoos are crying
The winter has been passed
summer is coming
It is so easy to write a poem in the spring
when the river flows gently to the sea
when the sakura shines
in the moonlit night.
Honey-bee dances in my garden
because it is spring
Flowers spreading sweet smell
in the cloudless blue sky
Could you imagine a garden
in the moonlit night of a spring
It can make a poem of love
It can open all the windows of your mind

A Poem of Rains

When black clouds cover the sky
and cold winds blow strongly
There will be rain soon
Nobody goes out of home…

Rains fall on the trees, on houses
and on the green fields of crops
Rains make the lands fertile and
bring sweet drinking water for us……

A cloudy day makes me nostalgic
A rainy day let me write a poem of
childhood memories (of few decades old)……

I hear the songs of rain in my mind
I get the smell of a wild flower
in a rain forest……..

A Rose

A rose does not know
How beautiful she was
How innocent she was
How lovely she was…..

She grows up silently
Blooms in the garden silently
She spreads God’s glories silently
Oneday she falls down silently….

She left behind her unique
Colors and smell in memoirs
She feels no pride in it
Rather she takes it as her duty……

I Want To Love You

There were rivers and seas
Hills and vales
Trees and green
Sky and cloud
Sun and moon
There were you and me also….

There were a lot of laughters and jokes
Trust and truth
Birds and flowers
Faith and love
You and me were also there…..

I want to depend on you
I want to like you
And I want to love you…

Photograph of a Hand

I saw a photograph of a hand
in a museum
thin and emaciated
It does not matter whose hand was this
a blackman, a white, or a colored
A male or a female......

It was an active hand of a factory worker
might be a hand of undernurished African refugee
or a hand of an AIDS victim....

It was a fisted raised hand
with a slogan in a procession
for human rights.....

It was the cut hand of doctor Che Guevara
sacrificed for the latin American people......

No More Hiroshima

(Every year on August 6, Japanese people observe
the Hiroshima day by releasing hundreds of white pigeons
in the blue sky of peace memorial park, the then bomb
blast area. I visited that area on the Hiroshima day of 1999)
____________________________________________________

I still smell the smoke of
an atomic bomb blast
There were a lot of broken buildings
and human remnants in the museum
and the memorial parks……

Many people were victims of leukemia
Still many suffering from skin cancers
and genetic disorders…….

I still smell the smoked flesh and blood of
human beings in the air of Hiroshima
I still hear the voice of hundreds of
unsatisfied souls in the sky of Nagasaki…….

No more Hiroshima
No more Nagasaki……

The Flower and Love

I saw a flower in your hand
It does not matter
which flower you held
either a rose or a cherry
because flower is flower
a sign of ever-love

You presented me a flower
with love
It does not matter
how much it cost
because the cost of flower is love
and love only

A flower can stop a war
A flower can break
the domestic walls of a narrow mind

My Garden

I want to make a garden
full of roses
black, white, and pink....

Bees are invited to suck the honey
and to taste
Butterflies are invited to enjoy the colors
and the smell....
Men are invited to enjoy the glory and glamour
of roses in nature....

Have you ever visited a garden
full of roses
Have you ever enjoyed
their colors and smell....

Roses can make you fall in love
They can remove all the distresses of your mind....

To My Future Wife

You are as nice as a red rose
encouraging me again and again
to write unique poems

You are the Helen of my heart
burning as like as the Troy

Where were you hiding so long
I find you out in a small corner
of this big universe

We Eat To Live

We eat to live
We live to enjoy
the different colors and smells
of this charming nature…..

We live to eat
We eat to survive
to taste the various
foods and fruits of this nature…..

We live to dream
We dream a poverty free society
with no diseases or disasters......

We want to live
Unseen, unknown, and unrepented
like a real happy man…..

We want to eat
for a long healthy life
and for a sound and greedless mind…
