Carly Lalion Poem
A woodland finds calmness through her presence,
gently brushing the red garlands
with flights of hundred moths.

Carly Lalion Poem
We lay on the grass
Softened by love's rhapsody
Deaf,to breeze that chimes
Recalling all youthful dreams
of candle light and stardust.

Carly Lalion Poem
Passing through a moist and darkened wood -
heading home, I gazed above a lea.
Suddenly I'm not where I should be,
Rising in wonder, my eyes tattooed!
A hundred stars blazed from everywhere,
all over a cape of softest pink.
Everything transforming in a blink;
flare of gems, a shimmer in the air.
Wondering if I should turn and flee;
unmoved from the spot, I rubbed my eyes.
For there before me, to my surprise,
the rare evening sky, a night’s marquee!
Brushed in pink, her hair a flow of gold,
quivering above the wooded trail.
Crepe-like wings so delicate and frail,
just like magical tales that behold.
A mantle cloaked , a pinkness swirled,
embracing my body in the dew.
And while stars circled the light, I knew -
I'd glimpsed the frame of an outer world.

Carly Lalion Poem
Careful steps lead me to an old temple
Perched across a bay, weeds on a float
Where dew refills bowl of greyish clouds
And tender breeze hanging on toes of sky.
In stillness , I offer my unsaid prayers
For the world that's here and far away
Reaching that point where mind is absent
Aloft the mountain tops and daily life.
Then I hear them, a rhapsody of chimes
Lifting me higher, regulated gongs---bells;
A music swelling in warm temperance
Until fireflies and birds enter my veins.
For a treasured moment, a holy energy
Cleanses my air from unknown past sins
As one last toll strikes, I feel transformed
Into a bay of nothingness except bliss.
The pulse takes me back to awareness
Knowing how serenity can entrance
My view of life entangled by loud hours---Yet,
bells remind me to stay quiet. I am changed.

Carly Lalion Poem
My hands ache to touch barn owls on a fence
A sight of winter mourning
Through visions of chilled eyes.
Panes crackle with snowfrost like tapped drumbeat
Birds quivering wails of song
And I , locked in a cage.

Streaks of orange hue
Burst as dewed flowers
Remind me anew,
Of lost sundown hours
When eyes bid adieu.

Carly Lalion Poem
When ladies doll up for fun
Over afternoon tea,
My rosy pots brew of laughter
Cups sipping flavored gabs,
When ladies doll up for fun.

If this be the sweep of Venice
Where gondola cradles
Love’s tryst--
Then lilt I shall on ride’s glazed ease
As stars flood magic spells--
Bewitched!

Threaded
seams emboss leaves
glistening new flowers
of fragrant May.
Springtime
adorns the view,
a quilt sewn by nature
and tender God.
