In the mist of affection 
Remained hidden the path I headed
The curtain of innocence 
concealed your true colors 

Blindfolded walked the plank of love 
Dived into the sea of pain 
Dense clouds choked the flow of joy
Till lifeless flesh was all that remained ..

My feelings were beautiful but benefits were lame
Ultimately became a sacrifice in your game 
I perished in the chase
Of putting an everlasting smile on your face...
