Amber Leigh Poem
My God, My Heavenly Father
I can not go any farther
My spirit is weak and in despair
The corners of my mind are dark and infested with fear
Oh God, I call out your name
Yet, I cower in shame
I turn to you now, in search of strength
Ashamed for turning from you so long ago, Father
Save me, Rescue me, Oh Lord
I shall not forsake you ever again.
