There She Is

There she is,
Lurking over the mountain.
Her sparkling hair,
Bright against the black cape.

There she is,
Her beauty that spreads from a fountain.
Like the hiss of the midnights air,
A new day gradually taking shape.

There she is,
But this time more dark.
Her light not so bright anymore,
A veil in front of her face.

There she is,
Her eyes without the spark.
The teardrops so unsure,
Now the magical night for a time replace.

Was It Worth It

I spend my days;
I want to find the answers.
I cannot remember the questions;
Nevertheless, I do know the reasons.

For a month, weeks, days
there is this huge battle.
This is my battle between mind and heart.
I want this battle to stop.

Six years is long.
It has become a history.
It is gone forever.
Never to be returned.

A friend once said.

“Yesterday is history,
Tomorrow is a mystery,
Today is a gift,
that’s why they call it the present.”

These are wonderful words.
Sad if you do not remember it.
Joyful if you use each second of your life.
Time is not to be wasted.

I waste my time on the things already in the past.
My mind is telling me to go on with my life.
My heart is still longing for the past.
I am afraid to go into something new.

For six years, I have wasted my life.
I waste it on something I thought was real.
It ripped my heart,
He left me with thoughts.

Was it really worth it?

Silhouette of a Woman

Staring at the darkness.
She believes she's all alone.
Who will know?
Who will see her?

A teardrop in the shadows.
Another day has gone.
Staring out the window.
She knows she's not the one.

The future in the mist.
Time that fly by.
It's far too late.
She left it all to faith.

Far out in the distance
He can see her.
The little silhouette
Of a woman in the window
