A Long Journey Made Short

Little Innocence was forged into the world
A shrill Sound flickered around the expecting eyes
Laughter carved out of marble
A statue thought to beat immortality
Yet Fear had a surprise
It crept into the cradle with ease
Laughter was choked
Tears burst instead
And Sadness had a form
Evil found in youth a red soil
Jealousy marched with Envy
Lust befriended Desire
Until cupid threw a bunch of arrows
Adventure appeared
Excitement beyond description
A Thrill with no past
Sentiments were aroused
Pride threw some words
Ego played its part
And when Love meddled to defend its territory
The Heart bled in utter silence!

Poet Destroyer A

Poetess she is, whose magic is cast with great ease
Opulent in words, charming to the utmost degrees,
Engraving hisses, silhouettes, images of natures surreal
Trespassing horizons never stretched out to an ideal

Destroyer as known for, although she's here to compose
Enchating poems and songs her beautiful soul bestows
Such a fusion encourages poets to hold their inks and quills
To write 'bout nymphs in seas or orchards filled with daffodils
Rampantly defeated by her as what often happens, except
Of all practiced skilled writers she's definitely the most adept
Yielded in a words-battle having a single acknowledged end
Efficacious "She" is by far a star who can simply transcend,
Reproductions of literary stylistic forms in her magnificent way

A lady I know as Linda with a pseudonym Poet Destroyer A!

An Ode To An Insidious Sensation

Beneath the translucent veil of placidity, emerged that sound
To all is pure evil forecasting the prelude of a prolonged agony
Of flashy tear drops falling from a man abandoning his captaincy
A voice gushing through blood to veins in a body utterly bound
With the zeal of a new couples tasting a love heartily profound
Never imagining their pampered sparkle would ever reach atrophy
A persisting whisper like the howls of a one thousand wolfhound

Driven by lust, the fervent fervour fatuously never faltered my heart
Desire has simply dyed my insidious sensation with colours agleam
With ease, the prey has fitly fallen into web not using a single dart
Night wiped the eyes of conscience, sanity swept in a sea of steam
For sweet sin never countenances evildoers to venerate the extreme
Bed saved its sheets for passers-by to err, the game began to start!

The Legend of the Light

The legend begins before time begins
In a far away land so beautiful and green;
The child gushed out to the sunny world
And was given the name Eileen!
But the gal was not an ordinary child
For she spoke poetry so supreme
In that far away foreign land
That was beautiful, vast, and green!

Since then, the journey of words took off
Writing to her became a daily routine;
Places visited, people met, and life incidents
All were summoned on papers agleam;
She gave birth to visions beyond
Any limits of time and sound
That girl who was called Eileen!
The spirits she evoked whenever she wrote
Rejoiced her name in the holly ravine!

The gal knew not she owns within her hands
A power that runs like a stream,
She poured her love to all who were around
From when she was a preteen!
But life was somehow severe and
Compelled to change the scene;
The young maiden travelled across the world
Leaving hometown and forced to wean!

Yet, the green fields she missed were revived
In a lyric, a song, or a heart-aching scene;
For the myth did engrave deep in the heart
Of the gal named Queen Eileen,
A light that surpasses any other light
Just as her name does mean!!

To Women

No mortal has triumphed to conquer your appeal,
From Enkidu's Shamhat to Cain's Aclima it starts
Longing for possessing you was part of the ordeal,
For lust grew unfathomed with the first love darts
Craving carved its roots in men with a hefty zeal,
Until it blurred our nous with the serum of hearts
Till now the journey keeps marching without retreat
If all is summoned, faith to you until the endmost beat!

In Glee

When hearts are torn in sorrow
And days await weeks to borrow
A scented Eurasian herb called yarrow
I stand afar in glee;

When blessings are so nearby in mass
And hedgehogs hop upon the green-grass
On a melody for a dancer trying a chasse
I stand afar in glee;

When love is the surname of every being
Shimmering sincerity and guaranteeing
Its rank in holiness and power of freeing
I stand afar in glee!

Muted By Authority

They never predict the consequences
Of their hurtful words;
To them, cruelty is a way
In order to make all pay!

You all have witnessed how it goes;
No need to tell you how;
Just rewind in mind the old days
And try to figure why!

We think we had it all,
Reached the end of the road
And believing we should stop,
We miss ourselves behind!

It should not block the path;
Life really does go on;
Yet, once it is all said out loud,
Can it be turned down once more?

She fired her comments in cold blood,
Kept stabbing with a smile;
She never thought of hiding the venom
Of her so-called advice!

He sat there stunned;
Aggravated by all means;
To him this was the final halt
Crawling with slow steps!

You all may be wondering,
And questioning about
The truth behind the identity
The poem talks about!

I am the one who stuttered
And sweated with every breath
I know not why I stayed silent
All I know that I was forcibly
Muted by Authority!

Agape

One day thou wilt not be standing in my way when I shall,
Seize the moment to say how much I love thee;
Life stretchest hope to the sincere and honest not to a rascal,
Whose only hope in saving his character is to flee.

Mine honourable soul doth asketh thy public acceptance for,
Secluded feelings can never forge a noble troth;
Bring forth in thy mind the sweet alluring memories of lore,
Keep my unequalled agape, shun what is not worth.

Come hither my twinkling future and mine adored baroness,
Good tidings address those whose hearts are ablaze;
Their nights a prolonged play of sumptuosity and madness,
Performing the art of love in its most luxurious ways.

Hark men and women of all time and place,
Love prevails if we didst take it as a grace.

The Second Man

Am I doomed to live a tale I cannot simply complete?
Shall I always remember her with every knocking beat?

I loved a girl who was never supposed to be mine,
I drew her sky with lilies and her ground with pine;

Saw new horizons from the beam of her blue eyes,
Never knew these radiant cyans could be made of lies;

They warned me not to dream far with a too-closed lid,
Vanity told me it is envy and my vision became turbid!

First month was a walk in Eden with roses flying in between,
Second month declared the birth of a love yet not foreseen;

The third summoned all jealous gazes and murmurs in a chest,
In the fourth she disappeared and no it is not some silly jest!

I wandered far and long trying to figure out as much as I can,
Why the only girl I loved would run away with another man?

Does love deceive humans when it manipulates and controls them?
How easy for us to blindly fall into a cleverly-webbed state of rem!

A year passed me by with all of its months and weeks and days,
I aged in that empty year but had to bitterly live that phase;

Just then I saw her striding along the road, a vision to be seen,
The girl, who haunts me still, was carrying a baby so serene!!

My heart grew colder as I greeted her with the words I barely mustered,
The scene deadened me since then and left me again heart-flustered!
