Be positive today and everyday,
You say what you mean and mean what you say,
Be positive, Be genuine too,
These two go together, to make a better you,
Be positive, keep thinking for yourself
You'll make the right decision, without anybody's help,
Be positive, in everything you do
Be good to others, it will return to you,
Be positive, show others the way,
Better to do more work and far less play,
Be positive and always be strong,
You'll strive to do right with very little wrong,
Be positive, that's the way to live,
Knowing how to love, showing how to give,
Be positive, this is the way to be,
Faith in God to guide you, will provide you, sweet victory!

Jamaica,
Jamaica, The flag, gold, black and green,
Jamaica, The island, so many want to see,
Jamaica, The people, so friendly, so warm,
Just the perfect home, away from your home,
Jamaica, A sound education is a must,
Every child must learn, The main thrust,
Jamaica, The land of the agriculture plan,
Banana, sweet potato, cassava and yam,
Jamaica, home of the fastest people of all time,
Usain, Shelly Ann, Yohan, best of the kind,
Jamaica, Where the music makes you really want to sing,
Jamaica, The food, the fruits, bite into everything,
Jamaica, The place, you get great sunshine and rain,
Bizzy Tea to ease your aches and pains,
Jamaicas' Oliver, Ity and Fancy Cat,
Give us sweet laughter to remove all that,
That hissing sound, when there's no job around,
Turn the tv on, Is it time now?
Jamaica, sometimes the road is long and ruff,
We will persevere, We'll strive to be tuff,
Steadfast faith in the Almighty! It's true,
Gratetful for the positives that help us pull through,
Jamaica, Jamaica!
We'll always love you!

Jamaica gets a visitor, who is he?
Barrack Obama, we longed to see,
Just the mention of his name,
We feel surrounded with his fame,
When Air Force 1 hit the ground,
Zero silence, could be found,
Deaf ears opened, Blindness, now sight,
Programming Mr. President to alight,
There he was, the epitome, a true gentleman,
Class, diplomacy, alacrity and wisdom,
The distinguished leader, for all generations,
Visible to those led with wisdom,
Traffic congestion, it was a must,
Jamaicans too ecstatic to make it a fuss,
His famous words, "Yes we can,"
Reminding us to stick to the plan,
"No obstacles too hard, for you to cross,
You can do it, if you choose to trust,
Trust in yourself, you must believe,
Thoughts in your mind, you will achieve,
Thoughts of willpower, determination and hope,
Paving the passage for you to cope,
Your miracle, like mine, an instant away"
"You can do what you tell yourself! What more can I say?"
"Yes we can"

In the midst of my sorrow, there's still hope for tomorrow,
In the midst of my pain, there's still healing to gain,
In the midst of my plan, God's designing a better one,
In the midst of my dissapointment, there's hope for new appointment
In the midst of my mistake, there's still more to apppreciate
In the midst of my embarrassment, God kept me through that moment
In the midst of my divorce, God's designing a new course
In the midst of my trial, I know, it's only for a while
In the midst of my accident, my recovery is soon evident,
In the midst of my existence, there's always hope for fulfillment
You remind me in your words, Thank you Lord!

Have you ever felt the need
For pure peace within
A peace that surpasses
The strong reality of sin
The peace that lets you know
God truly loves you so
That in spite of calamities,
You still know where your head is
The peace which makes you happy,
even when your'e sad
Peace flowing inwardly,
glowing outwardly,
when your'e mad
Peace that gives you confidence,
regardless of life's strifes
Peace that's really peace,
when you sleep at night
Peace, peaceful peace,
Don't know how
But I'm there now!

I Do Do I
Contemplating to get married? Be careful who you choose,
If you don't, while married, You will gain or you'll loose,
Gain more pride and self confidence, Loose your pride and self consciousness,
Gain more love and recurring happiness, Loose your power and confidence,
Anger issues - Therapy - A must! Avoid regret, Before you forget!
Financial stability, too important to erase, Must be in place, to fit life's pace,
Trying to choose a partner, Learn of their background, It's even more important, it be similar to your own
There's no relationship, without flaws, But ways you can cope, trust God.
If it ends, You may be friends, But less motivated; To stroll the isles again.

An inspiration to keep
You were so caring, so sharing,
Spent half my nights staring,
Staring at your beautiful face,
Are you from this human race?
Suddenly kind words turned to shouts,
Shut up now. before I throw you out,
You're so stupid, Don't want you here,
Leave me alone, get out of my chair,
Why is the need to treat me this way?,
These hearts were intertwined forever and a day,
Despite my crushed emotions, I wish the best for you,
Yet, my stand is imminent, here's what I'll do,

Overcome by lifes perplexities, the challenge is real
Yet I will be strong, I will go on and on
Overcome by greifilled sorrow, many loved ones gone,
Yet I hope to see them, one more time again
Overcome by constant pain, worsening day by day,
Yet I will continue to pray for relief someday
Overcome by feelings of depression,
Emotions, just too strong
Yet I will rise above, I'll show someone some love
Overcome by anxiety, thoughts overwhelm me
Yet I'll yearn for peace, I've begun to find relief
Overcome by life's perplexities,
the challenge is real
I'll continue to rely on God
He'll help me to be strong,
I will go on and on
I will overcome!
