I Forgive

You were so kind, so sweet,

An inspiration to keep

You were so caring, so sharing,

Spent half my nights staring,

Staring at your beautiful face,

Are you from this human race?

Suddenly kind words turned to shouts,

Shut up now. before I throw you out,

You're so stupid, Don't want you here,

Leave me alone, get out of my chair,

Why is the need to treat me this way?,

These hearts were intertwined forever and a day,

Despite my crushed emotions, I wish the best for you,

Yet, my stand is imminent, here's what I'll do,

Departure, my only choice,

True words for you, Softly is my voice!

I forgive,

I forgive,

Yes, I forgive!

I have known this couple. Very dramatic expression of what can and does happen. Leaving is the only emotionally healthy answer. Whether fiction or true, a very well told human experience. Oh, 'why is the need' or 'why is there need?' ... CayCay

Thanks so much! I wrote the word need at "Why is there the need " to demonstrate the strange driving force that this individual seems to have in portraying an obnoxious attitude to the recipient.
