Overcome
Overcome by lifes perplexities, the challenge is real
Yet I will be strong, I will go on and on
Overcome by greifilled sorrow, many loved ones gone,
Yet I hope to see them, one more time again
Overcome by constant pain, worsening day by day,
Yet I will continue to pray for relief someday
Overcome by feelings of depression,
Emotions, just too strong
Yet I will rise above, I'll show someone some love
Overcome by anxiety, thoughts overwhelm me
Yet I'll yearn for peace, I've begun to find relief
Overcome by life's perplexities,
the challenge is real
I'll continue to rely on God
He'll help me to be strong,
I will go on and on
I will overcome!
