Elizabeth O'driscoll Poem
Shattered Glass
.......................
You took my heart
And shattered it
Then left it out in space
Each tiny piece shines brightly
full of love I won't replace
Now all thats left
are songs and words
To remind me of your face
So I will leave my broken heart
to shine in outer space

Elizabeth O'driscoll Poem
I float with ease
On a mystical cloud
To sit upon this rock
I rest and view
Transfixed by you
Surrounded by tranquillity
I touch the water that reflects your beauty
In an aura of magical colours
I feel the ripples
Run through my soul
As I bathe within your water

Elizabeth O'driscoll Poem
Passing Through
This world is not my home
I'm just passing through
I have loved and lost
But that won't make me blue
For there is much
To do and see
Far beyond you and me
From the leaves on the trees
To the deep blue sea
An ocean of love
Is surrounding me
And when I leave
I'll take with me
Fond memories of
Gods love for me

Elizabeth O'driscoll Poem
Nobody is born bad
War
Poverty
Homelessness
Lack of love
Lack of compassion
Lack of education
Lack of jobs
And lack of care
Drives people to take desperate measures to survive

Elizabeth O'driscoll Poem
We have been on a beautiful journey
One I shall never ever forget
The best journey yet
You were with me all the way
each moment of each day
In my heart you will forever stay
We travelled many roads
Through so many emotions
But love shone through for me and you
God put your hand in mine
In universal love to shine
Through space and time
And though I never understood
I always knew I should
Never give up on love
So here we are today
Back home to stay
With one very important thing to say
I love you all

Elizabeth O'driscoll Poem
I have found true Love
A bin man he be
No gems or bull....
Just pure love he gives me
Works hard for a living
strives every day
to pick up the rubbish
the rich throw away
With a beautiful smile
and a heart of gold
I thank the lord
it's his hand I hold
He makes me so happy
in every way
We laugh at the rubbish
life throws our way
I am proud of my man
forever will be
As he makes me proud
of just being me
We dance in the rain
and laugh in the sun
Through the meadow of love
As one we run
Our hearts full of joy
Within love we fly
No valley too steep
no sky too high

Elizabeth O'driscoll Poem
As darkness falls
On this autumn night
I close the blinds
And dim the lights
It's cold outside
but cosy in here
Snuggled up by the fireside
With my love so dear

Elizabeth O'driscoll Poem
When you feel the ripples of love
Flowing gently through your soul
When you feel its warm glow
Flow from your head down to your toes
When you embrace the one you love
And feel the spiritual flow
As you melt into one
Then you know
When you see the love light
In their eyes
As you look into their soul
And bathe in its warmth
As from the heart it glows
Then you Know

Elizabeth O'driscoll Poem
Feel Gods love all around
From the sky to the ground
See the gifts he gave to you
In each blade of grass beneath your shoe
In each grain of sand flowing through your hands
And every seed upon this land
See the genius of his love
As flowers appear from a bud
Feel the love next to you
In that daisy by your shoe

Elizabeth O'driscoll Poem
I gave you love
Without condition
Held you close
Beneath my wing
Took you high
And helped you sing
Guided you through
Stormy weather
Tickled you
With my feather
Cheered you up
When you were down
Never let you
Hit the ground
Danced with you
In the rain
With my tears
I wiped your pain
But now it’s time
You took the reins
As I take flight
To tranquil plains
