Shattered Glass

Shattered Glass
 .......................

You took my heart
 And shattered it
Then left it out in space
 Each tiny piece shines brightly
full of love I won't replace
 Now all thats left
 are songs and words

To remind me of your face
So I will leave my broken heart
 to shine in outer space

Just beautiful Elizabeth! I like the thought of 'shining in outer space', it's like it's free from inhibitions. Well written piece! ps, sorry you caught me during a 'rant ', and thanks for commenting honestly.

Intresting perspective, now that it is shattered I pray that all the pieces will attract the love you deserve and reconstruct a beautiful shining heart.
