My Heart Belongs To You

My Heart is so heavy,
And I’m feeling so blue.
All that I have,
Are my thoughts of you.
I feel so utterly alone,
With no-one to care.
Wishing I was by your side,
Knowing you’d be there.
I felt your presence today,
And my heart skipped a beat.
It warmed me on the inside,
From my head to my feet.
I long to feel,
Your warm embrace.
To put a smile,
Upon my face.
Your picture is,
Such a wonderful sight.
It fills my heart,
With a beautiful light.
I long to look,
in those deep brown eyes.
To feel like an eagle,
flying across the skies.
To see that beautiful smile,
across your gorgeous face.
Would fill me with cheer,
and make my heart race.
Your gorgeous body,
I long to see.
I want it here,
right next to me.
The way you walk,
with your different stride.
It fills my heart,
with a sense of pride.
You scent still lingers,
with-in my mind.
A better person,
I will not find.
All night long I lay here,
just thinking of you.
With the hope that you’re somewhere,
thinking of me too.
The thought of you,
being mine.
Leaves my heart,
feeling fine.
You’re in my thoughts,
in all that I do.
Because I know,
my heart belongs to you!

The Life That We Live

The life that we live,”
is so full of sorrow.
With the hope of a better day,
with each new tomorrow.
Cut off from the world,
living with the shame.
Known as a number,
not even a name.
We put up a front,
so no-one will know.
That deep down inside,
its hurting us so.
The empty promises we get,
from family and friends.
Let us know that the pain,
just never ends.
They say that a visit,
is what they plan to do.
Not realizing our pain,
when they don’t come through.
They always seem to plan,
to do what they say.
But something always happens,
to get in the way.
We harden our hearts,
to not feel the pain.
They try to break through,
but they try in vain.
We dress all in orange,
each day of the year.
We push everyone away,
letting no-one get near.
Yes it is true,
we have no bills to pay.
But the jobs that we have,
pay mere pennies a day.
The change that makes up,
our hourly wage.
For the jobs that we do,
it fills us with rage.
The prices seem low,
compared to the street.
But in here it’s a struggle,
just to make ends meet.
We walk in a line,
like ducks in a row.
We stay locked inside,
with no-where to go.
We long to go to work,
to get out of the dorm.
We dream of having a life,
some semblance of the norm.
But in this hell,
we must stay.
And deal with the pain,
each and every day.

A Friend Indeed

You know if a person,
is “ a friend indeed”.
Each time you go through,
an hour of need.
He’s the one that is there,
through it all.
The one that will catch you,
when you fall.
The one that will be there,
when you cry.
And when you shut down,
he doesn’t pry.
When you need to talk,
he lends you his ear.
He’ll offer you advice,
through-out the year.
When you need a hand,
he wont let you down.
He’ll try to cheer you up,
when you wear a frown.
He’s the one on whom,
you can depend.
The one that will be there,
until the end.

Daddy's Little Girl

The day you were born,
I was flying like a dove.
You filled my heart,
with a different kind of love.
No-one can know,
just how I feel.
A father’s love,
is truly real.
Your pretty blue eye’s,
and flowing blonde hair,
you have an over-all beauty,
that is beyond compare.
Unconditionally my love,
will forever grow.
I can’t be there right now,
but I hope you know.
I will be there for you,
as soon as I can.
I will leave your side,
never again.
You will always be my little girl,
this is so true.
But I want to tell you how very much,
“I Love You!”

Thinking About You

All day long I sit here,
Thinking about you.
Hoping that you’re somewhere,
Thinking about me, too.
Not a day goes by,
That my love doesn’t grow.
I thought I’d write this poem,
To let you know.
As I sit here thinking of you,
It is with mixed emotion.
But not ever once,
Have I doubted my devotion.
Sometimes I feel sad,
Lonely and blue.
Because I am here,
And not with you.
Other times I’m high,
Flying like a dove.
Just knowing that I,
Still have your love.

My Dear Brother

The bond that we share,
is like no other.
You’re more than a friend,
you’re “my dear brother”.
In your hour of need,
all I can give is a prayer.
I want to let you know,
that I’ll always be there.
The things that are happening,
just don’t seem fair.
I’m writing this to let you know,
that I really do care.
From inside of these walls,
it’s hard to show.
The very best that I can do,
is to hope you know.
The love that I have for you,
can not be broken.
Even though it is never,
truly spoken.
In our hour of need,
we find who truly cares.
I hope that you realize,
you’re in all my prayers.
So get well soon is the wish,
that I’m sending to you.
I hope that you know,
I’m doing all that I can do.

Decisions

Going thru each day,
feeling just fine.
Not realizing my life,
was on the line.
Then out of the blue,
I caught a cold one day.
Not knowing that my life,
was changing in every way.
The loss of appetite,
caused my weight to shed.
The shortest of walk’s,
I had learned to dread.
My life force was drained,
I had no energy at all.
I couldn’t even walk,
I could barely crawl.
Not being able to breathe,
cut off my oxygen source.
The doctors couldn’t tell me,
what was wrong, of course.
I prayed every night for God,
to take me out, you see.
For deep down in my heart I knew,
what it must be.
The life that I lived,
was full of sin.
Sex, drugs, and rock & roll,
I couldn’t win.
I’ve not only hurt myself,
but those I hold dear.
I’m afraid to get close to anyone,
or let anyone near.
Because of my past decisions,
I will die it seems.
But I am not afraid,
because he redeems.
Now that I have Jesus,
with-in my heart.
I am no longer dead,
nor torn apart.
This is an awful disease,
that I have, it’s true.
But the Love of my savior,
will see me through.
I always thought that this,
couldn’t happen to me.
I pray that you will open your eyes,
so that you can see.
Be careful of the decisions you make,
each and every day.
The decision made right now,
can affect tomorrow in every way.

For You and Me

It’s my own actions,
that put me in here.
Because I forsook,
the one I hold dear.
I’m sorry it took me,
so very long.
To realize that I was,
so very wrong.
Now I’m back in the word,
and study every day.
And listening to the Spirit,
in every way.
Now I’m joyous,
happy and free.
Just knowing that Jesus,
Loves you and me.
He came down here to earth,
to save me and you.
He paid the price for our sins,
this is so true.
Upon the cross,
he took my place.
Oh, how I long,
to see his face.
I’ve recently been diagnosed,
with a deadly disease.
But my mind and my heart,
are both at ease.
No-one can know,
the pain I feel.
But I take it to him,
each time I kneel.
The pain that I feel,
he takes away.
He replaces it with joy,
each and every day.
Sometimes it is hard,
to get out of bed.
Sometimes I even wish,
that I was dead.
But my savoir has something,
that I must do.
So he give me the strength,
to see me through.
I pray that you will open your eyes,
so that you will see.
That Jesus can handle everything,
“for you and me”!

Special Father

Even thought I’m miles away,
and we’re far apart.
You have a special place,
within my heart.
We have our differences,
this is so true.
But no-one has ever taken,
the place of you.
You are a special father,
and forever will be.
To be so accepting,
of a child like me.
All the best I wish for you,
on this day.
You deserve your dreams to come true,
in every way.
When you’re down and out,
and feeling blue.
Always keep in mind,
that I Love You!!!!!!!!

For You

My life was over,
no reason to live.
My heart was empty,
nothing left to give.
Until the day,
he knocked at my door.
He was so unlike,
the ones before.
The feelings inside,
I tried to fight.
I fought and I fought,
with all my might.
The harder I fought,
the further I fell.
Now with joy,
I want to yell.
I Love his body,
and the way he walks.
His outgoing personality,
and the way he talks.
His beautiful brown eyes,
and his gorgeous brown hair.
His beautifully tanned skin,
is beyond compare.
His face is so gorgeous,
he’s so full of Love.
There’s no doubt in my mind,
he was sent from above.
My defenses were no match,
for the one before me.
The hardness in my heart,
was forced to flee.
He gave new meaning to my life,
this is so true.
Because of three little words he said,
“I Love You!”
With these three words,
my life forever changed.
All of my priorities,
were re-arranged.
Not one person knows,
just how I feel.
The Love I feel for him,
is truly real.
The mere mention of his name,
makes my heart skip a beat.
This truly perfect man,
makes my life complete.
For me there is no other,
this much is true.
I long to hold him close,
and say “I Love You”.
I hope that he knows,
how much I care.
I want to let him know,
I will always be there!
