That Golden Dog

A Golden Dog
Up the driveway I walked.
My dog sees me while my dad talked.
She comes and pulls me.
For the driver couldn’t see.
By the diaper she pulled.
I could have been mauled.
But now the dog is gone.
I feel like all I can do is run.
But she wouldn’t want that.
So I stopped and sat.
At times I miss that dog.
In me, she isn’t a fog.
If it’s all I know.
She will know where to go.

Seeing Her

Seeing her
You broke my heart to the earth
I feel as if I’m hit by the turf
When I came with my love
You threw it away like an old glove
And my heart is broken so
Personalities grow and grow
You danced with him to that song
I cry when it comes along
And when I see you I will think
You took my heart and put it down the sink

The Deed

The deed
That time at the market
When my mom was yelling park it
I went into the store
And saw many things to adore
One I took under their nose
I tip-toed with my toes
I said to my mom I did something wrong
But she just said leave it to mom
So I waited for what she was to do
We couldn’t fix it I already knew
We forgot about it to the wind
Soon I left myself to find
The real me inside
But myself I couldn’t find
