D'nena Stevens Poem
When you see that star shining so bright,
That’s God’s way of saying I’m alright.
I’ve finally made it to my heavenly home,
To sit with God on his precious throne.
Heaven is a wonderful place,
Everyone here is touched by his grace.
The angels stroll around with their angelic wings,
While we pray, we laugh and sometimes sing.
When there isn’t much more to say,
We all get down on our knees to pray,
That one day you will have a chance,
To walk around heaven and take a glance.
I will truly miss your smiling face,
But we all know I’m in a much better place.
So don’t think of me as gone,
Just say I’m in my heavenly home.
Here is where I want to stay,
You will be here one day I pray.
So good-bye for now, but not for long,
Soon you will join me to sit on God’s throne.

D'nena Stevens Poem
Where is the love that we once shared?
I thought our love was pure and you really cared.
We’ve been through hard time, thick and thin.
I thought I had a spot in your heart deep within.
You said that we’d be together forever.
You said that you would leave me never.
What happen to all the fun we once had?
The thought of loosing you makes me very sad.
I loved you then,
And I will love you to the end.
I will never forget the touch of you hand,
I will never forger our walks in the sand.
I will cherish the memories forever and ever more,
Because you are the one I have grown to adore.
I’ll never forget your sweet baby face,
Nor will I forget your warm embrace.
So when the nights get long and lonely,
Remember me in your dreams and how I loved you only.
Also remember our dinners and wine
And I will never forget you are one of a kind.

D'nena Stevens Poem
What happens when the sun turns to rain?
What happens when all I feel is pain?
What happens when I can cry no more?
What happens when I no longer do you adore?
Do I try and follow those stretches of traces?
Or do I try and mend all those empty spaces?
Do I tell you that everything is fine?
Or do I say that the fault was all mine?
When will all the heartache end?
When will my broken heart begin to mend?
When will all the pain go away?
When will I know everything is okay?
How will I know the time is here?
When can I say I have no fear?
How can I tell if your heart is sincere?
When will you say I love you my dear?
I do know that time is running out.
I do know what the future is all about.
I do know that my love is fading away.
I do know that your lies have gone array.
All I can do now is hope for the best.
And hope that you put me above all the rest.
I’ve loved you plentiful for many, many years.
Now I’m hurt and can’t hold back the tears.

D'nena Stevens Poem
When your love one has gone,
Don’t worry for you are not alone.
There is always someone on you side,
For you to follow and be your guide.
You might not know it, but he’s always at your hand,
Just look behind you and you can see the foot prints in the sand.
He will never let you down and he answers all of your prayers.
Just talk to him and he will listen, because he really cares.
He will be there with you through the storms and rain.
He will be there with you to help ease your pain.
He will be there with you when you are in need of a friend.
He will be there with you until the end.
So don’t ever think that there’s no one to talk to.
Because Jesus is there and he really loves you.
You can call on him whenever you are in need.
Just have faith in the amount of a mustard seed.
