Last Petal

As thy rose, purest white, Gently brushes though’s skin, dances with all’s might. One by one, Petals of softest design, Flutter upon the earth, Will they be mine? Who may know, Only the story keeper can answer. All but one have moved on, The one with the most will, The Most determination, The most melody in its tune. On its surface, A single bead of life, Filled with such promise, Filled with hopes of no strife. As the last one grows weary, Its special harmony is heard, Never get teary, never feel absurd. Live in the circle, Don’t disbelieve, Never feel alone, Live until your last reprieve. Then, after much fighting, It, too, falls to where it first came.
