Broken Heart Promises

i was lost in my own world
     full of pain and lies, you told
     me i was the only one you 
     wanted,i believed every word
     you ever told me.

     i gave you my heart and soul 
     and you used and abused it
     like it was nothing to you
     i did all i could to keep you
     in my life but  the harder i
     tried the more you slipped
     away from me.

      i felt like i was not good
      enough for you anymore,
      there was a big hole in
      my heart that felt like
      it was getting bigger every 
      day ,we never talked any
      more or did much  together

      i dreamed of the day that
      you would come to me and 
      whisper to me ive come to 
      you away with me t never return
      to this place.we can make it  if
      we tried harder to mend what
      was broken in my heart
