Tragedy of a Tsunami

People died young and people died old
No one was warned and no one was told.
Maybe you don’t understand what I am trying to say
But over two hundred thousand people died that tragic day.
All around you people are affected
And everyday a new disease is detected.
It hurts me to see people killed by a tsunami.
Children separated from mothers.
Sisters separated from brothers.
Technology supposed to be so smart
Families in Asia torn apart.
I hope after reading this poem you will see
The devastating tragedy of a tsunami.
