My sweet ice-cream treat
fell slowly down to my feet
like vanilla snow

Robert Dixon Poem
Such a silly concept is this,
killing men they know exist.
everyone all the while,
put their faith in denial.
till all the people with the power,
insist their faiths will be devoured.
can truly someone say they know,
if everybody wants to show.
something unseen that's truly there,
my guess is as good as theirs.
readily I do believe,
everything I can percieve.
in that I know I put my trust,
given truths one knows they must.
never say fire's not hot,
simply prove to me it's not.
so now I sit on my high horse,
under God cannot be forced.
put your faith in what YOU know,
really I can't tell you though.
enter in to your belief,
make me not religions theif.
everything says that though we dream,
.

Robert Dixon Poem
My monkey and me,
were hanging out in a tree.
we hung out so long,
that he grew a strong,
res-em-belance to me.
That's not where it ends,
but rather where it bends.
we left both our lives,
and left by our wives,
still stayed best of friends.
So what shall we eat,
neither can cook a meat.
I'll pick from your fur,I know you'll concurr
A bountiful harvest of fleas!

Flibbety Shibbety
Gwendolyn Geritrude
Blackened the windows with
curtains so plain.
Neighborly aesthetic
peri-precautiously
people all decided
she was insane.

My attempt at Double Dactyl.
Let me know what you think.
Constructively.

I never have to pee,
as bad as when I'm asleep.
I hold it so long,
bladder so strong,
Thank goodness for yellow sheets.

Robert Dixon Poem
"A ghoul's parade"Time remains still for
The silent, eternal march
Of children disguised
"Fun for All"Black and orange smiles
A knight of ghastly terror
for playful sprites
"Darkest night of the year"A powerful howl
pierces the children's laughter
The cold hallows wind
"Haunting holiday"A pre-November
unforgiving melody
"Happy Halloween"

I added titles to differentiate them.

Have you tried the Kix
much, much, better than Trix
When it hits milk, smoother than Silk
You'll know where I get my fix

Flying
swiftly, surely
spinning, swooping, flipping
Sunlight, clouds, wind, Earth
Screaming, flailing, praying
terrifying, tearful
Falling

Robert Dixon Poem
In the cool fog of the predawn morning
on a cold November day.
Darkness is apparent, waiting,
A shadow bouncing along the edges of the grey.
The wind howls a melancholy song,
like a Bassist plays the blues.
A dark tall figure looms there,
the wind barely ruffles its hair.
A laborador stand on hind legs,
not the playful dance of a dog, but the haunting stance of a demon.
It stares straight through me.
I am frozen in fear as it draws near.
A hauntingly human walk as it steps from the shadows on my block.
A deep, menacing growl pierces the winds howl.
It speaks, "Come with me," and the darkness closes in.
My soul was not saved
on this cold
November
day.

Coal
dirty, grimy
shoveling, glowing, burning
smoke, soot, heat, pressure
hardening, shining, dazzling
brilliant, beautiful
Diamond
