The Woman In Me

Something deep inside of me is longing to escape
to a better place outside of myself.
How will I get there?
Will there be anybody to help me find my place.
I'm not the same as before.
I want to walk away from it all but my first step is walking
through that door.
I'm afraid because I have no idea what's in store.
I want to live with no regrets, doubts or fears.
There's a big world out there for me to discover.
I have so many questions.
Will I be able to make it on my own or will I need
a helping hand.
Someone who will listen to me and understand.
I got to find a way to become the woman I so much
want to be.
I got to be stronger to make it in this world.
I want to say goodbye to the girl that I once was
and say hello to the new woman that is me.

In Your Eyes

In your eyes lies a paradise I would love to get lost in.
In your eyes, I picture us walking together hand in hand, I’m your girl and you’re
my man.
In your eyes, I can see no wrong, my heart is a place where you’ll always belong.
In your eyes, lies a paradise where I would love to get lost in, but it makes me
want to cry because you won’t let me in.

Such a Place

Try so hard to erase everything in your mind.
Wanting to escape but the loneliness doesn’t let you be.
Life has treated you so unkind.
Wanting to drive away without looking back, you try to leave your troubles.
Close your eyes and imagine a world where there is no worries, no sadness or
disappointments.
Convincing yourself that such a place does exist.
A place full of Hope, Love and happiness.
How do you get there, where do you go?
Its up to you to figure it out if its even a place or just a state of mind.
There are no directions on how to get there.
You only hope that you figure what it is exactly that you are looking for.
Your curiosity leaves you wondering, if you should continue to keep on walking
until you reach that place where all your tears are dried, leaving you with that
feeling that you arrived in that place where nothing goes wrong but mostly
importantly the satisfaction that you finally belong.
