Heavenly Love

Heart of stone has turned to light,
as I crave that touch when I wake from night.
Visions alone make me quiver,
but the flesh on flesh surely deliver.
Consuming his breath as my own,
liquefies within down to the bone.
Intense heat radiates from the inside out,
this is what love is truly about.
The flames that blaze through his eyes,
never looking away with a bond that ties.
A bond so strong we beat as one,
pulsates an aura bright as the sun.
Clocks tick no more as time stands still.
Resist no more, heavenly love fulfilled!

Numb

The war of wars has no end,
makes all a prisoner, no hero, no friend.
Numb from hurt, disgust and despair.
Once loved is lost and lives in fear.
Turning good so very bad,
morality gone, becomes selfish and sad.
Hearts become stone, hard and cold.
Caring for no one young and old.
Darkness consumes at any age,
taking the soul with full rage.
Hurting all that's in their path,
patiently waiting for God's wrath.
Numb from life, no feelings but shame.
This is true war, not just a game.
Hearts are broken and families torn,
many tears falling, many to mourn.
Always ending horribly wrong,
praying not with a religious song.
Please wake up and see the light,
numb is the war we need to fight!
