Final Message

The ones who are our fallen heroes
The ones who stayed to save others,
The ones who were always our illuminating angels
The ones who remain our fathers, sons, and our brothers.

The ones who carry the strength of endless strength
The ones who found an open door,
The ones who strived to go that extra length
The ones who didn’t look back, but went back for more.

The ones who hadn’t passed by those who were disabled
The ones who went back and had a heart,
The ones who carried them without being labelled
The ones who travelled bravely on that flight.

The ones who knew the end was near
The ones who didn’t quiver,
The ones who reassured those in fear
The ones who spoke “Let’s roll,” and delivered.

“In memory of the heroes who were
supposed to be here in presence,
but now in spirit,
United Airlines Flight 93,
God Bless America’s courage!”

All of the Above

All of the Above

As a sister, you taught me hope indeed
As a sister, you blessed me with dignity,
As a sister, you taught me how to succeed
As a sister, you followed me above and beyond to exceed.

As a soulmate, you taught me nurturance
As a soulmate, you taught me friendship,
As a soulmate, you taught me reverence
As a soulmate, you taught me no perseverance.

As a friend, you consoled me
As a friend, you bestow me,
As a friend, you hold my heart
As a friend, we renew a new start.

Hopefully we may follow our paths to our future ahead
And I’ll always remember those important things you’ve said,
As a sister, confidante and friend of love
Thank-you for teaching me all of the above.
