I took a walk today
Down another path
Away from what tore me down
Now I have wings to fly among the ocean
I have learned to become brave
This is what my inner thoughts say
To walk with my head a high
Learn where not to walk
Because this is my life
I find freedom in the coming
I come to know myself a little better
I have sturdy walls
Breaking across the barriers
Learning to put boundaries
I am one
With the hope I can challenge myself to dream
There is more to me
When life is real and I no longer need to be afraid

No matter what I do
I cannot get you out of my head
I move on
And your memory still haunts me
Days can go pass
Years even
And your still here
I cannot let go
I cannot erase you
The agony strikes my chest
My heart breaks over and over again
I keep going on and keep writing and the pain remains the same
I cannot stop the rhythmn of the shame and painful ache you created
Everthing seems to bring you back
I stop and always think back
Why did you make the choices you made
Why was I not good enough for you
Was I the mistake
Did you regret you found me
Why do I think back to you
I wish I could just let you free from my mind
I wish I no longer felt for you
I wish I was numb
I wish the drip of morphine ran through my veins
I could erase you forever
And the memory would no longer ruin my mind that keeps you locked inside forever.

Only in ways I would ever imagine

I run fast to you for pleasure

I breathe passion through you

There is no one like you

To horizons yet imagine

a desire full no longer empty

To a place I never knew
You turn me on
to a deep yearning found in you.

You are a rare beauty
A jewel found in the treasure
That I will keep forever in my heart
So dear to me
Never shall we part
I will cherish the moments we spend together
I will remember memories as we experience them each day
I am grateful to have you in my life
I have fallen in love
So deep
I long for your closeness
I fall into your embrace
Your touch is heavenly
Soft kisses upon my face
Love captures me
Bringin me closer to you
Holding me dear and always true
I will be the one that holds your heart
The one that stands by your side
I will give you my all

Spoken word
Feeling within
A spirit uplifting from inside
Where it all begins
A new journey
A new path
The direction leading to joy and laughter
Positive energy being driven
Guided by inspiration
Determination from the guidance I see
The beginning of what appears so real
When I come to realize
I am here
Right where I am suppose to be
Learning to move on
Starting over and realizing what life means
When I close a chapter in the book
I find myself developing a new
The chance to be me
The place in a atmosphere
Where I am to be free
The choice is mine
The consequence will remain my responsibility
I begin to be brave on my own
To adventure and be found encourage to grow from where I have come from.

How can I leave you
When you brought adventure to my life
You were the one I truly loved
You chose a very dark road to lead
Away from me
They took you away from me
There was no goodbye
They locked you up
They drove you far away
Away from me
Alone I stay
So fearful have been my days
So lonely have I been
Tears flow down my blood shot eyes
I mourn for the loss
I can't replace
Though with my addictions
I try
I try
over and over
Its not you
No one loved me the way you did
No one held me in there embrace as you
There is no one in the world like you
You had to choose a life of ruin and chaos
You had to give up on me and I take the loss.

It rips my heart apart
To see you behind bars
That keeps me away from you
I can't help the tears that keep falling
The pain strikes deep in my very core
I can't control myself
I can't move on from here
I am lost in the fear
I am drowning in a bitter sorrow
I am down on the ground
beaten to the bitterness of death that is among me
My health has shattered in pieces
I am so weak that my breath is no longer within me
I no longer have you near
I am alone
I feel abandoned and lost
For you made the mistake and were taken away from me
No I stand here beaten and abused from the misery I must take
I have no choice then to lay here in the pain I bear
I found happiness though you memory still haunts me dear
I can't get over you
I can't move on from what you drove into the very heart of my existance
I can't escape the chaos you created
I can't lose sight to what you put in place when you disappeared.

Time to Change
I was lost in a world of destruction
Where life seemed to upsetting
Lifting my head was so challenging
Walking with my head looking ahead
was impossible
I wanted to keep my eyes on the ground
I was lonely
I was upset
I wanted to give up
I only knew distress
Being put down and let down is all I really knew
I was broken and lost what was I suppose to do
Life turned the day I looked God in the eye
It was turn my life or choose to live a lie
I gave my life this chance
To pick up where I was
Because this I knew
was my rock bottom
I had to reach for the sky
I knew there is more to life than pain and misery
I found my faith in the truth of what I believed
That God has my back no matter where I go
He gave me the push and this time I really made it for me I was going to go.

Your smile has given me hope
No longer do I fear that I am alone
I found a love that is so fufilling
That strengthens me when I am weak and believe I fall into earthly sin
I break a away to find myself
Within your arms that holds me tight
I see clearly the light of day
Where inspiration grows strongly in a gentle way
I see our love grow stronger with each breath
