A Walk With Me

I took a walk today Down another path Away from what tore me down Now I have wings to fly among the ocean I have learned to become brave This is what my inner thoughts say To walk with my head a high Learn where not to walk Because this is my life I find freedom in the coming I come to know myself a little better I have sturdy walls Breaking across the barriers Learning to put boundaries I am one With the hope I can challenge myself to dream There is more to me When life is real and I no longer need to be afraid
