Rodney Russ Poem
Last night I took a swim in a man made sea
Its whiffed waves belched against my outer covering
It’s waters undulated the vitriolic
Hiatus of a lost soul at sea
Life, the incoherent vitality of a hoodwinked ovary
My body replenished by the right of way of its pagan tutor
The sea’s stealth creature inhabitants
Invited me to dine in a cloud capped
urine, antiquated fossilized vagina.
I failed to make clean my hands
The sea’s hostess seated me
by a turquoise colossal compass
that played on a tricycle of confute horology
I wanted caviar but only trinket was served.

Rodney Russ Poem
He waits by the fire
But he cannot get warm
He sleeps outdoors
With the mangy dogs
And loose women of the night
Who've fallen off the radar.
The shelter won't let him in
He too crazy
And his family don't care
He wants a bus pass to the skies
Though he compromises and dies
