I Just Can'T Live Without You

I just can't live without you,
You make my world complete.
I'd wander around without a clue,
If I'd only lost you in the street.

I just can't live without you,
You get me through the day.
My heart would be fractured; I know it's true,
I can't live without you, there's no possible way.

I just can't live without you,
I couldn't bare to lose your face.
Without you I'd have nothing to do,
But I know you'd be in a better place.

Here Lies Blacky

It's been over a month since I've seen your face,
I hope you're in a better place.

When I see your saddening grave,
You seem so helpless and tremendously brave.

I'd love to be with you again,
To see you playing around in your pin.

I keep wishing on the brightest star,
Because I know just where you are.

When I look to the skies,
They remind me of your beautiful eyes.

I think you should know, my world is torn,
It takes skills, trying not to mourn.

My heart is fractured; it cannot be repaired,
The feelings from my soul cannot be shared.

Your fur so black, with specks of whites,
Remind me of the darkest nights.

My mouth whispers words of love,
Like the angelic voice of a precious dove.

Your eyes shine so lovingly bright,
To create such a beautiful sight.

I hold your image close,
Like nature does a rose.

The tears I shed are jewels from my heart,
Without you I have no idea where to start.

Missing you is all I can bare to do,
Wandering around without a clue.

Looking back at all those times I spent, thinking of you,
My heart is lacking what is needed, it needs something true.

I look over those days, wishing I could change the past,
But knowing it all came way too fast.

I'd always wanted a dog of my own,
And you were the best dog I'd ever known.

I'm sorry for all the times I pushed you down,
Instead of picking you up, off the ground.

The way your eyes used to glow,
Let your true colors show.

The date is carved in my heart,
Written on every piece of art.

And I'll keep wishing on the brightest star,
Until I'm right where you are.

I will never forget your loving face,
I know you're in a better place.

Love's Cross

Went outside,

                                  Saw his grave.

                                  Started to cry,

                                  I walked away.

Letting the sunlight burn my tears,

I wiped my eyes and turned around.

                                 Felt like dying,

                               Instead of crying.

                               I put a red bow,

                                 On his cross.

                                 That I made,

                             That horrible day.

Whatever Tomorrow Brings

When Heaven comes knocking at my door,

It will be clear that I've won the war.

I can see it now, you falling to the floor,

Pleading, "No, take me, what are you doing this for?"

I wont let them take you, instead of me,

For dull as a blank page, my life would be.

Your endless love has always been the key,

And from the Heavens, your love, I'll still see.

I'll wait for you each and every day,

And if luck strikes out, and you go the other way,

I shall give up my angel wings and say,

"Without him here, I just can't stay,

Life without him just isn't the same,

I can't be up here, living with the shame,

Of knowing that he has lost his own game,

Oh, he was a good shot, until he lost his aim."

I know you'll hear me, your smile will beam,

You'll hear my voice and think it's a dream.

Oh, but as dream-like as it may seem,

Know that it's true, though it may be hard to deem.

I'll take my chances and dive headfirst into the blue,

I'll even swim the coldest river, try something new.

The things I'll do to be back with you

Will all be worth the journey I'll go through.

From the high skies I will have fell,

God sending down my last death bell.

When I reach the firey gates of Hell,

I'll wish the Heavens a nice, "Fare-well."

Both of our hearts will skip a beat,

When we see each other and our eyes meet.

Our bodies will melt due to too much heat,

We'll die with a strong sense of undefeat.

We'll feel the pain of a thousand cries,

We'll finally say our last "Goodbyes,"

But if true love truly never dies,

Our love will not fall, it will only rise.

Why God Made Me the Way I Am

God gave me two eyes,
So I could look to the skies.
God gave me two hands together,
So I could hold your love forever.
God gave me two ears,
So I could hear your voice when it disappears.
God gave me one heart, but the other,
God gave to another,
So I could find it.
That is why my heart is split.

Just a Dream

I saw your beautiful face last night,
But it was just too good to be true-
It was still a beautiful sight.
When you faded away, my world went blue.
But it was just a dream.

I saw your bloodshot eyes last night,
It was you in your early days.
You faded with a fright,
It was just a dream, but it crushed my heart anyways.

I saw me hugging you last night,
I just couldn't believe it, and,
Something wasn't right.
Your expression was too bland.
I noted that it was just a dream,
And my heart turned into sand.

Brightest Star

I've been wishing on the brightest star,
Because I know just where you are.

And though I seem so very far,
I'll always know just where you are.

I'm wishing on the brightest star,
I know exactly where you are.

And I'll be wishing on the brightest star,
Until I get to where you are.

The Unforgiving Light

There stood a veteran behind the prison wall,
Who looked up to the greatest thing of all.
Begging for mercy to an unforgiving light,
All he remembers is his final flight.

Up in the air,
Without much care,
He heard the voices on the speakers blare,
As the plane stalled, "Be careful up there!"

His plane crashed down without a thought,
And behind the wall, it was caught.
Begging for mercy to an unforgiving light,
All he knows is he must choose right.

To live, or to die,
To hurt, or to fly,
Again, but in the Heaven sky.
There, he could go so high

Being held hostage is hard to bear,
But he, being hopeful, would not despair.
Begging for mercy to an unforgiving light,
All he thinks about is that terrifying night.

Of when his plane came crashing down,
And when his smile became a frown.
And sirens sounded throughout the town,
And blood rushed to his crown.

He coughs up a stream of blood,
As his face falls in the mud.
Begging for mercy to an unforgiving light,
All he notices is that soon, it will be night.

And that night, his heart would fall,
And the angels would begin to call,
"Come with us, from behind the wall,
To the greatest place of all!"

Dandelion

Close your eyes and make a wish,
A spring day is here.
The white flower begins to swish,
As its seeds blow everywhere.

Through the feild as I wander,
I notice some are big and some are small.
Looking around, as I ponder,
I notice some are short and some are tall.

Pale and white,
Take no delay.
The bundle tight,
Then drift away.
