Days of My Life

Last night I sat in my solitude n wrote some verses,
So listen to me as I spit them like chapters from pastors in churches,
Hope when I’m finish it will meet places, masses,
U see I’ve been faced with some problems lately,
Yeah I know, God will take care of them, they all say,
But I’ve been playing this waiting game a long time u see,
And as much as I plea,
Oh Lord help me, is like he never there to help me thru,
So I began to curse God out for giving me this awful life,
Daily I live my life with strife,
Now I see why people take knives and take their lives,
Because living a life like mine people really have to strive hard to stay alive,
Just like bees in a bees hive, raised
Yes, people in this world are ready to attack you and leave you staggering to revive yourself,
You proberly saying what life KG been living?
I guess it’s safe to say, one like if I was thiefing,
You know, like if u thief a lime from your neighbor, u have to hide,
Because in this place where I go to school, like it have people out here watching my every
move,
So let me slip up and say the wrong thing,
Do the wrong thing,
Them aint waiting until the fat lady sings,
They taking me out like wind,
They look at me an underestimate me,
Cause apparently I look young,
But they aint know I kinda strong
But as I watch these people in their eyes,
Tears from my eyes fall,
But still I stand tall,
Remembering the saying “this too shall pass”
Only if I could kick them dutty minded people in their ass,
For being so hateful,
But I have to keep my thoughts within,
For am I am a minority in this place, cause all do is in it to win it…
Also remembering this life aint no race,
Wonder if they know God don’t sleep
Sometimes I do wonder if they open their mouth whispering the amazing grace.
For last night I sat in my solitude and wrote some verses
I hope those hating humans see and recite them like Sunday school memory verses
So now I rest my case…

Why Do I Love Him and Know That I Am Ready

I guess you know when you want to spend the rest of your life with someone then it must be
love
When you’re willing to take the bad with the good
When you know this person makes you feel like life is worth living, even just to spend it
with them
When you know it’s your best friend
Your confident
Your lover
Your advisor
Your strength
Your rock
Your sounding board for all your ideas
Your cheer leader at times
When you know it’s someone who makes you completely happy as much as they make you
intensely mad
Someone who ask how your day went, it matters to them, or what you ate for lunch, it also
matters to them or what was the highest point or low point of your day and it matters to them
Someone who you can learn from and grow with
Someone who you always want to help grow
So it’s not like this gushy feeling inside that tells you its love, for me it’s all those
things that I mentioned and sometimes when I do get the gushy feeling, I know it’s an
additional perk but it doesn’t define our relationship
I sometimes ask what love is.
How do you know? But I guess its whatever it means to you
For some people love can mean someone showering them with gifts or love can mean someone
who cares enough for them enough to beat them or someone who showers them with money
Love can mean whatever it means to each person but those things are what loves mean to me
Someone that makes life worth living
And I don’t think its fairy tales and kisses and hugs and peaches and cream.
Its hard work, its frustrating learning how to accept each other’s differences etc, and to
tolerate of each other’s culture (if coming from different places) and expectations in a
relationship etc, but surely its worth it in the end…
I love him and ready to get marry to him… I DO!!

How I Found It

How I found it!!

I wasn't the brightest growing up,
But I was smart,
To you the aforementioned statement might sound like fart,
But what I'm trying to say is,
I never knew I had it in my to create such EPIC art,
Not until I got my heart broken,
By the thing we call LOVE or for me was it infatuation?
Well yeah, I thought we had something, because I felt something inside,
But apparently it wasn’t so,
So now I gather all my thoughts and put it on paper,
Cause I once heard a saying, "once you write it tends to ease the pain",
Oh I know, the hurt won’t go away right away,
But thank God for his great creation of paper and pen,
And of course Krystal George,
So now I can express how I feel from,
heart broken situation with himssssss,
To my friends, my life at school, my country,
Not forgetting how I feel towards my family,
So when you guys assemble,
To read my pieces and comment,
It shred me in pieces to actually think you guys take the time to read them,
Whether you'll can relate to them or not,
But for poetry I have found a passion,
So with God on my side and his strength I will keep it coming,

Wondering

So he proposed to you huh?
I’m pretty sure the diamond is gleaming into your eyes as you read this,
Please don’t let it blur your vision,
But I was wondering,
Are you going to do like AJ and let me Free?
Soon he’ll turn you from miss to Mrs.
So I was wondering,
Like Jenifer Lopez in “enough” are u going to kick me to the curb?
I know sometimes memories just isn’t enough?
Sometimes you out grow the one you love,
But arhmmmm, I was wondering?
Would you take the time to reflect on the good time/ days we had,
Would you still have love for me?
I also know is a fact that people change,
But I was wondering would you stay the same?
I know you be watching the “Game”… so there is nothing more left to say,
But still I was wondering
Was it alright to wonder?
