The Spring Sun

The sun dances around
Smiling brightly down at earth

Spring is here at last!

The sun’s hands reach down
Warming everything
After a cold winter

Buds and flowers open up
Looking at the sky with gratitude

The trees wave their branches
Saying thank you to the sun

They all agree,
Spring is their favorite season

Moe's Dream

Once upon a time,
A thousand years ago,
There lived a friendly crab
By the name of Moe

You, see Moe wished to be
A bird so he could fly up high
He flapped his arms all day
But please don’t ask me why

Everyone told him it would never happen
But Moe had hope
He practiced everyday
And when he couldn’t, he would never mope

Moe grew very old
And suddenly he died
Many creatures were at his funeral
Everyone there cried

But little did they know,
Moe’s dream was coming true
He was up in heaven
And there, in heaven, he flew
