All Along

In this house I sit all alone,
just wanting and wishing to go back home.
Home as in my wifes loving embrace,
planting kisses on her most beautiful face.

I still don't know how to move on in life,
knowing I no longer have you as my wife.
To move on feels wrong in so many ways,
so I just go on alone counting the days.

As the days get longer I feel my heart break more,
my body shutting down as I stare at the door.
Praying you walk in and this nightmare be done,
but I wake up to the bright morning sun.

My heart refuses to go on without you here,
remembering how our love was strong through the years.
My mind says move on but my heart says no,
It still can't believe that you had to go.

You did go and now I'm all alone down here,
crying to myself as I count fallin tear's.
My love for you will always be strong,
and please know I loved you deeply all along.

Wish You Were Here

I miss you more and more each day,
still can't believe you had to leave me that way.
I can hardly catch my breath when I think of you,
which is everyday and night that I feel blue.

I ask the Lord why you, why so soon,
when I needed you more than the earth needs the moon.
There is a big deep hole where my heart used to be,
the reason fot that is your not here with me.

I try to put one foot in front of the other,
but sometimes I stumble and think why bother.
You are'nt here to catch me when I fall,
so what happens if I scream for you at all.

Your love is what kept me sane,
now that your gone I know nothing but pain.
Your in Heaven where there is no more tears,
while I sit alone wishing you were here.
