Became a Grandma

I became a Grandma today
Which makes me happy in every way
I held you in my arms
Such a sweet feeling in arms
I love you so
And think of you so
As you grow
My heart is happy
Grandma loves you
Always and true

The Sadness Within

The Sadness Within
Don't make me grin
I feel sad
Not glad
My heart aches
And feel like we are a mistake
I don't know how to feel
Cause my heart don't seem to heal
I don't know what to think
That or makes my spirit sink
The Sadness Within
Which seems to have begin
I won't be second best
This feels like a test
If you're not happy with me
Then set me free
I'm not going to be made a fool
That is just not cool
My heart is breaking
That it seems to keep aching
The Sadness Within
Continues to win
Don't keep lying
Cause I soon will no longer be trying
The truth is best
Instead of a guess

Rubber Duckie

Rubber duckie you're the one
You're the reason I'm the one
Rubber duckie
You're the one for me

A Homeless Soul

He lives on the street
With nothing to eat
He'll work for any
Which won't be spendy
He holds a sign
And the people drive by
It's almost Chirstmas
Which he won't have any wishes
It's very cold
That he witholds
It made me feel bad
And even sad
I pray for him
And hope his life will begin
This world should be better
No matter the weather

Bubble Bath

I lay in a bathtub of bubbles
To forget my troubles
It relaxes me
And enlightens me
The flicker of a candle
As it sits on the table
So hot and warm
Like an early morn.
It's quiet in here
As the bubbles disappear
I feel better
That I write this happy letter
I close my eyes
Happy to be alive

Live Each Day To the Fullest

Live each day to the fullest
Before it all seems hopeless
Live each day as it comes
And that life can be dumb
Live each day as a new day
To make things go your way
Live each day with heart and soul
Even when the truth is untold
Live each day as a new way
To make the hurt go away
Live each day as happy and true
Even when you feel sad and blue
Live each day one by one
Before our days are done
Live each day as a challenge
As full as full as a gallon
Live each day is what i say
Since i am here to stay

One and the Same

One and the same
Is such a rhythmic name
And no game
One and the same
Make them feel regained
Where they became
One and the same
It is so substained
Which makes their hearts tame
One and the same
Time will tell
So they can exspell
One and the same
With their hearts to aim
With love to gain

Protect My Heart

I have to protect my heart
So it doesn't completely fall apart
No one will do it for me
Other than me
Be firm and strong
Instead of being gone
Not sure if I can forgive
That it makes my thoughts dim
The hurt is hard
Like a sad card
Protect myself always
As I walk down the hallways

My Dad

My dad passed away when I was nine
That it didn't make me feel fine
I have pictures of him
Which always makes me grin
I have some memories
But not so many
I miss him everyday and night
Which I think of him with delight
He was way to young
For him to be gone
It's been so long ago since he left us so dear
I love him always and true
Theres no other dad like him so true

A Love Complete

He helps her across the street
That their love for each other is complete
Their hair is gray
But their love was never taken away
To me thats true love
That they fit like a glove
I want someone to be with until I am old and gray
And that he helps me anyway
They seemed to be together forever
No matter the day or weather
They are always together forever
