Heroes In Our Eyes

There was a strong and brave few 
Who knew what they had to do
So they waited and they planned
When the time was right, they made their final stand
They refused to die without a fight
So they only did what was right
When they caused the plane to crash onto the land
And miss it's target with help from God's great hand

Now in Heaven they do rest
Knowing they did their best
And saved so many lives
Which made them heroes in our eyes

Nearer To Thee

Nearer to Thee, by now I prayed I would be
But somehow I've gotten off track
And I need a way back
A way back to the place
Where there was no race
To see and do it now
When I knelt to pray..with my head bowed.
