I receive assistance
From my Savior 
And I'm not ashamed to admit 
I can't do it all on my own 
I'll take a hand out
One of the loving

Of my GOD that is on the throne
I get free food  
From JESUS 
The bread of life 
GOD'S word is spiritual nourishment for my soul
I was given a gift 
That even the richest person can't buy

Strip

Open your eyes
Open your ears
Open your mouth
Open your hands
Open your mind
Open your heart
They are all things that are doable by man
Judgement has taken on human form 
He's running amuck throughout our land
Putting fear in many people that cross his path
Causing death and destruction anywhere he can 
Don't let judgement strip you of your self esteem 
Don't let him strip you of your pride
Don't let judgement strip you of your voice 
Or embed self hatred in your mind
Let judgement know that you will be your authentic self 
Tell him you will not stop or be silent this time 
And that regardless of his threats of verbal and physical abuse

GOD 

We look and we listen
While liars try to prove contradictions
In your words that have been written 
Via arguing bout religion
JESUS people say they are GOD
Since we're created in GOD'S image 
They say GOD created and we create 
Are they trying to say 
between us there's no difference ?
Jesus please send your loving correction and guidance 
LORD uproot all this fiction 
You're the word that dwelt among us
You're pure 
Without spot or blemish 
Let them know we cannot compare ourselves to you 
Nor can we have your position 
You're the true and living GOD
But the deceiver is in the land of the living

I know that all the weight upon your shoulders 
Is debilitating at times 
The luggage that you're carrying with you
Is you and other people's baggage  
Intertwined 
Focus is needed for life's journey 
But sometimes it's just too hard for you to find
Due to the storms that you encounter along the way 
And the tears that fill your eyes 
Still through it all you keep on moving 
Finding strength in GOD'S promises 
While battling confusion 
Fighting hard yet following JESUS
Knowing that you have victory while going through it
Although you have trying times
You know that GOD already won

Your addiction 
You gotta kick it

Get that monkey off your back
You're missing so many opportunities 
You don't have to live like that
It's time to say yes to recovery 
I dont want today to be your last
Look at what youre doing to your family 
Your children need you in their lives so bad
They are worth the 12 steps to sobriety 

Take it one day at a time 
JESUS will help you all the way 
He will lead across that finish line 
During times of weakness 
He will give you strength 
All your withdrawal symptoms will subside 
It will be a battle but just keep the faith

We're all here on a journey 
With only one way to go

Yes we all do different things 
Choose the streets roads 
And avenues we take
But going FORWARD 
Is mandatory 
We make our own decisions in life

I'm just sharing what I see
We can resist
