My Girl With Raven Hair

Residing in our dreams before
years we had not met
opening life's hidden door
hearts that had not yet

connected to one another
hearts being intertwined
emotions of a lover
secrets of our minds

sharing now of present life
thoughts of what could be
having shared sorrows strife
your my destiny

calling through the ages
no other can compare
loving past all stages
my girl with raven hair

Please...

Please don't go away
My heart needs your tenderness
Stay with me my love

Standing At the Gate

A crisp greeting of morning frost
welcoming me for a new day
soothing feeling of hopeful bliss
caressing the ruffled feathers of yesterday

Loneliness in time does fade
beautiful the song of tomorrow
how long I have waited
seeing your lovely vision once more

Holding you there but for an instant
lasting forever in eternities eye
never will I let you go, I love you
you, the flame that warms my heart

The end of a new journey draws near
bringing together the story of wandering souls
walking two different paths to the same destination
I'll be waiting for you at the gate....

Two Separate Parts of One

An angry heart lashed for bone,
stripping a wounded souls protection.
Silence, the key to forever,
listen to the nothing, love lingers.

Tombstone memories wrapped,
cradled in angel's wings, smiling.
Warm afternoons of laughter, wonderful,
walk with me and gather pine cones.

Dance upon the fall of autumn leaves,
sheer moments of joy remembered.
Passionate kisses still wet my lips,
the taste of loves breath feeds desire.

Living, two parts of the same whole, lost,
let us bring the pieces home together.
Once complete, happiness will return,
no longer a need for angst or depression.

Just the gentle caress of a lovers touch.....

Death of a Dream

It's all over but the crying
tears fall down like rain
washing away the dream of forever
nothing now left but pain

Hollow promises of what was
a thought and what could be
fantasy is never a happy place
reflections for all to see

My own eyes deceive me
hearing what I want to hear
heartbreak fills the table now
tomorrow is now unclear

Love is suppose to be a wonderful thing
hoping to fill an empty life
but it's just been a terrible nightmare
racked by sorrow and strife

I guess this is goodbye my love
for you will always be
cradled hear in my broken heart
for all the world to see

Your Cross To Bear

Know that I only love you,
it's your cross to bear.
Longing for tomorrows dream,
the girl with raven hair.

Tested hot theses waters be,
our passion glowing bright.
Extinguished will theses fires see,
forever lost within the night.

Take this promise of forever more,
I never meant to hurt you.
Just a heart on destinies door,
one vessels desire to just love you...

Flowers On the Carpet

Remembering the passionate bliss
being silly in the afternoon
feeling the love we shared
and the sparkle in your eyes

You never looked so wonderful
holding you I could get lost
caught up in that wonderful you
trapped in the long strands of your raven hair

It's the fire that burns today
keeping my hope alive, I'm sorry
Forgive me I'm foolish
I will forever and always love you

Wonderful memories make me smile
rapture the embrace of our union
your scent still filling my nostrils
the flowered carpet of an afternoon...

Do You Rest Without Me

I see you in my dreams of late,
pictures lost in a memory.
Beauty of the timeless kind.
the one I cannot forget.

Can you just discard me so,
without a second thought.
Here I am without you,
dreaming you be mine again.

You mean the world to me, my sweet
no others can ever compare.
Sparkling eyes never lie,
for when you think of me.

When you close down to sleep,
how does your heart despair.
I am forever yours my love.
It has been so long for us...

Tears of Blood

Breaking down our wall so hard
I hear you on the other side
only a vague whimper escapes
drowning in a pool of tears

Lonely desperation haunts my eyes
the vision of you so clear in my head
is it all just fantasy, something I created
where did our happiness go

Repenting quotes of I'm sorry
repeated mistakes and blame
shuffle me down one more time
on the outside looking in

Living in this silent misery
lost upon the waiting of a broken soul
never depart crying tears of blood
and the cracked smile of withering sorrow

Cemetary Thoughts

Walking today
in that special place
silent and peaceful
strait solemn face

just thoughts and memories
how things once were
seeing happy visions
warm thoughts of her

playing in my head
that day we stood here
not long ago
now disappear

fox runs for cover
squirrel on a stone
sitting under our tree
there all alone

autumn breeze blowing
dark cloudy sky
how things can change
a blink of an eye

just another passage
in an unhappy life
filled with regret
sorrow and strife

I always come here
to just get away
far from my real life
wishing I could stay
