That Moon of the Night

In the sorrow-filled hours of the night,
that  gently searched.
With the hope that light would come,
to dispel the darkness within her...

Was it a thought hiding behind the veil of darkness?
Or was he waiting, concealed for the right moment?

I don't know... perhaps destiny’s playful ways
prepared a change in her...

In the shadow of night, he came to wipe away
the tears that flowed through her eyes ,
Driving away the darkness within her...
Like the moon rising to bring light to dawn.
Yes, he is her Moon!
