Harsh Pratap Singh Poem
Is love enough,
When there is rain and snow?
The sky is falling, the climate is rough,
Well, I may never know.
So, I asked Eros, hoping he'd know,
He smiled with a prudent glow,
Knowing the answer, ready to show,
He answered in a Socratic flow.
Through the tempest, as snowflakes dance,
Love's resilience, a timeless romance.
In the turmoil of the sky's wild show,
Love's embrace, a shelter to bestow.
"In the stormy night where even shadows cease to grow,
Is love enough, as the winds blow?
Raindrops rage in secrets, tales untold,
Yet love persists, a warmth to hold.
With thunder's roar and lightning's glow,
In the heart's refuge, emotions flow.
When the world weathers, both static and in flow,
Love endures, an unwavering echo."
When he finished, the answer to be told,
One tear started to flow.
Is there someone to hold,
In the vast universal cosmic flow?
I suddenly feel the harsh blow,
With a clenched heart and feverish glow.
My mind speaks up in the echo,
Maybe love is something that I will never know.
