Fitting Hands

Where are you now Lord?, I need a hand to hold, 
    this life I am in has left me lonely and cold, 

I once spoke with you often- I knew you were there,
    but time has caught up to me, and I need your care,

Come walk with me now, Lord, I have some things to say, 
    for I have grown distant from you and forgotten to pray, 

I've done evil to many and good to a few, 
    thought I had found the light, but realized it was you,

Please take my hand now Lord, come mend my broken soul,
    if you haven't noticed, lately it's been weary and out of control, 

Well, I have to go now, thanks for sharing your time, 
    I know its been a while, but your hand still fits perfect in mine.
