Dia De Los Muertos

I come to see you in this gray place.
The place between awake and asleep,
The void between life and death,
I come to see you in this place.

In a few short months the veil will lift.
The gray will be replaced with color and life.
We will be able to visit one another.
I will be waiting for you here.

In this gray place between awake and asleep,
Between life and death.
I will wait for you here,  with Death as my guide,
Until the veil is gone.
To hold you once more...

I will love you in this life and the next. 
Forevermore
