Damsel In Distress Poem
He reminds me back when I was thirty-one and he was thirty
Acquainted with him in the mid-month of humid February
He reminds me of fresh boiled tea, roti and chick pea
And the ceiling fan he took snaps for streaks continuity
He reminds me of Japanese comics and series of anime
Which he could read and watch anytime of the day
He reminds me of cricket, football and all the games he play
And the time when he sang Aurora's runaway
He reminds of streams, mountains and valley
Showed me pics and clips of the northernmost India's beauty
He reminds me whenever there's an outage of electricity
How we struggle in life out of life's complexity
He reminds me that what keeps us going are money and responsibility
And we should be contented with it and just be happy.
He reminds me whenever I feel sleepy
Like him, I once was dependent on melatonin gummy
He reminds me of his yellow-striped collared tee
How it hugged and clung his body perfectly
He reminds me of his jaw and chin so beard-y
How I wish I could caress them tenderly
He reminds me now with everything I see
But everything is just a wish and I can't have him, unfortunately.

Damsel In Distress Poem
How will we know
if we're close to an end?
How will we know
if part of the ending has already started?
From one chat away
to no chat all day
From being always updated
To being unattended
From more night talks
To no talk at all
From a guy whom I'm used to being cool
To a guy who turned icy-cold
It's hurting but can't do anything about it
Communication is fading when the feeling is about to bloom
Suppressed it, faked it, keep it in a dome
Can't confess, can't contront
Coz we don't have a label in the first place
People change, feelings fade
So I have to endure seeing this ends
One day will come and this will heal
Has to wake up, this can't be real

Damsel In Distress Poem
HE REMINDS ME
(edited)
He reminds me back when I was thirty-one and he was thirty
Acquainted with him in the mid-month of humid February
He reminds me of fresh boiled tea, roti and chick pea
And the ceiling fan he took snaps for streak's continuity.
He reminds me of Japanese comics and series of anime
He read and watch them almost everyday
He reminds me of cricket, football and all the games he play
And the time when he sang Aurora's runaway.
He reminds me of streams, mountains and valley
Showed me pics and clips of the northernmost India's beauty
He reminds me whenever there's an outage of electricity
Shared struggles of life's complexity.
He reminds me that what keeps us going are money and responsibility
And we should be contented with it and just be happy.
He reminds me whenever I feel sleepy
Like him, I once was dependent on melatonin gummy.
He reminds me of his yellow-striped collared tee
How it hugged and clung his body perfectly
He reminds me of his jaw and chin so beard-y
How I wish I could caress them tenderly.
He reminds me now with everything I see
Darks were replaced with fresh, new memory
He reminds me even in the pettiest and in the smallest way
But those were just borrowed time, unfortunately.

Damsel In Distress Poem
Love is like a sun
Exciting on its first rise
Sunrise is dazzling, energizing
Warmth felt
As day gets longer
Its warmth cozies
Then it intensifies at noon
Overwhelming hotness
Too much to bear
Burning, hurting and tiring
Needs to keep away from it
Needs sunblock, shield, shelter
To get away from excruciating pain
Next thing you'll see
Its appearance changed as it's setting
Sun set is attractive and bold
So beautiful in your sight
Enticing, bewitching
But dusk will turn to night
And it vanished, a goodbye.
Darkness, numbness, helpless
Can't have the same anymore
Eyes closed, will rest
until a new day will come
New beginning, new hope
that we will see another sun
will gently shine , hopefully
with constant warmth only
cherished moment, no pain will be felt
The only wish, oh Genie.
