Shawn Gambers Poem
In spring's tender embrace, buds awake,
Whispering secrets, the Earth feels a shake.
Leaves arrives with its fiery glow,
Fields of gold, rivers aglow.
A spring brush paints the world in hues,
Petals dance freely, lighting a fuse.
A cold descends, a soft wind,
Raindrops fall softly, in silence, a sin.
Each change in this life, still untold,
In the Earth's harmony, the story unfolds.
Through these cycles of change, will I ever refrain?
But these cynical rhythms, will forever sustain.

Shawn Gambers Poem
rumbling roses
carry me off to bed
trying to ignore each petal falling apart
opening and flourishing

Shawn Gambers Poem
For there are things I've done to you
A reflection of me
But let the thought alone
Let it be
Oh, I wish it was
A yearn in my heart
A smell, like I'm drunk
The taste of this love tastes so good to me
The touch of this cloth, so thick, so pristine
The way I feel inside has become so bubbly
But let the thought alone
Just let it be
I try but I can't
Prioritize the time
Think about it all day
When will I get what's mine?
Dissocialized from the world
Twirl my hair into a curl
Feet floating and mind elsewhere
Just to be here, is it so bad really?
Yes
It was
So I let the thought alone
I just let it be

Shawn Gambers Poem
I definitely love you
And I most certainly miss you
But I indefinitely ache for you
I imagine the same
It reoccurs until the moon, is new
Or when the sky sings true
I think to myself
Comfort him, over knowing everything
My everything
Falling, Unknowingly, continuous kisses
My everything
You are my only love
Because of you, angels are real
You are the only one
I love how you make me feel
You are in the flowers I grow
Loving you over and over...
How could I ever have known?
That the choice I made that day
Has followed me to a new year
How could I ever have known,
That all I need is you, here?
