Flutter

The door was open
Why was it open
Flutter Flutter
I hear the sound
Of the wings on the butterflies
Coming from the open door
Until I realize that 
The open door is not a door
It is a book with a door

I walk through the door
In the book
To a world of wonder
And poems
Flutter Flutter
I hear the butterflies again

I look for the door
But it is gone 
I smile at the thought
Of never leaving this place
At first the door was open
But in the end it was closed.
