Somwhere Between Now and Then

Somewhere between now and then, your face turned into photographs, making sure to look at them everyday so I do not forget what you look like.
Somewhere between now and then, your voice turned into videos, replaying the last few seconds so I do not forgot what you sound like.
Somewhere between now and then, walking on court became painful and sad, knowing you will never be there.
Somewhere between now and then, the thought of you turned from laughter and happiness to crying and pain.
Somewhere between now and then, I lost all will for life because the struggle and pain of missing you is too much to bear.
Somewhere between now and then.

Maybe

Maybe If you knew how much you meant to me,
Maybe if you knew how much I loved you,
Maybe if you knew how much of an impact you made on my life,
Maybe if I thanked you for watching me grow up,
Maybe if I told you how grateful I am that you got to be a part of my life for eleven years,
Maybe if I had one more lesson with you or one more conversation,
Maybe if I got to tell you these things and you knew,
Maybe-just maybe I would be a little more ok with you being gone.
