Make me a poet

Dear God, make me a poet in the next life..
Make me a poet who loves the air,
Who loves the sea,
Who loves the trees the branches and the shade,
Who loves the flowers that bring joy to a sad face,
Who loves the sky, clouds and see my beloved in them,
Who loves the rain and fall in love to the melody and hum,
Who travels to places and hides a note,
The secret treasure hidden to those places has my memories to quote,
Who loves the art and stains thy hands,
Who color the past without mentioning what’s coming past,
Dear god make me a poet in the next life,
So I can cry, smile and love without being afraid to die...
