Lady Pearl Hemans Poem
How I've looked at the rain for hours
For it was so enticing to watch
The cascading droplets and the fog
Made a very good sight
I felt that's where I belong
A place surrounded by only rain and fog
A very cool and relaxing place
How I've wished for it to fall for hours
For me to witness this blessed sight
Why it was so entrancing
No one knows
For I felt at home
My love for rain
Knows no bounds
For at night, it is like sleeping in the arms of the clouds with warmth all around

Lady Pearl Hemans Poem
As great as the stars they said
As fast as lightning they saw
From dusk till dawn he practices
Through the golden hour his blade shines brightly
Like the reflection of the moon on water
He spars continuously as if he knows no time
Like a waterfall his hair cascades as dark as the night
He wields his sword with great power
In the village he's praised for his achievements
An agile man willing to die for his people
As beautiful as her name Jasmine sounds she soothes his sparring wounds which he treats as his trophies
With his dears by his side his enveloped in family love
The greatest samurai, the greatest father and husband
He was the legend...

Lady Pearl Hemans Poem
The brightness of the day
Has given me hope;
Hope for today, tomorrow and forever
A brighter future
And good old many days to come.

Lady Pearl Hemans Poem
Beyond tomorrow, there's a future.
A future for the present age;
A destiny-filled journey
Far across the lands or shore.
A never-ending story that begins with an aim;
Flying high like a star shining across the sea.
The sky was never our limit.
Our limit is where we end, the end of our limit is where we begin the journey for a brighter future;
In adherence to peace and with united hands,
We the youth will make it into the future,
Transforming lives and maintaining peace.
The future is bright, ready?

Lady Pearl Hemans Poem
Hurriedly they flew into the bright sky
Their feathers glowing underneath the sun
And with their sweet songs
The animals all lay awoken by their voices.
As the day draws to an end
They pick up their harvest
And store them in their nests.
They cuddle their little ones
With feathers that can brighten up the night.
They sleep peacefully and soundly
In the memories of their morning tunes
Oh what a lovely sight to see
These brightly-coloured birds
In their coat of many colours.

Lady Pearl Hemans Poem
As the evening grew colder,
The skies became darker
As flashes of lightning and peals of thunder
Awoke the sleeping man.
As he stared around in wonder,
The once noisy world had returned to its silence.
As he gazed at the dark clouds,
They slowly paved way for the stars to fill the night sky,
The moon at it's finest shining brightly.
He took a final look at the night sky and thanked nature for it's view.

Lady Pearl Hemans Poem
As she sat on the old rickety chair by the fireplace
With an orange cat by her feet and a knitting yarn in her hands,
An old music box played a rhythmic pattern on repeat.
As the notes flew into the ears of the listener,
Memories of the past started gushing out;
Those days in the past where she had to hide in an old cart till her lover called out a tune
Those days where she had to steal some of the freshly baked cookies from her mother's oven which was meant for afternoon tea
Those times where she had to steal her father's freshly brewed beer which was meant for Thanksgiving
Just to have a little picnic on the shores of the river
with her lover
The shore where he played their favourite tunes with his little guitar
The shore where she nestled in her lover's arms while they watched the setting sun, a little music box playing his favourite tunes while he sung them aloud
All these moments were reopened by the music box he gave to her as his parting gift.
Even though he was no more, she knew in her heart that his soul comforted her by his favourite tunes.

Lady Pearl Hemans Poem
The life of a cursor is not an easy one.
It could turn into any shape depending the command of the user but
Sometimes it decides to take matters into it's own hands and to do as it pleases and refuses to work
In the end it is only an artificial intelligence
With an end of life undecided.
Our life as compared to the cursor is full of vitality.
We do things on whim depending on our mood
We do things as instructed because we've got no choice than to obey
Sometimes we decide to go our own way ;
Different from what we are supposed to do
In the end we have a limit
We are no robots
Why then do we stress ourselves out and not enjoy life?
Life without some flexibility and happiness
Is like the life of a blinking cursor on the computer screen
Dull and without vitality.

Lady Pearl Hemans Poem
When you saw me on the carrousel
You knew you had found love
You waited till I had fun with my friends
Before approaching me with steady steps;
When my friends saw you approaching
They knew what was bound to come
They gave way for the two of us
You asked me out and we took things from there;
We were having the best time of our lives
Until suddenly you slowly slipped away.
Your rose to the highest pinnacle of your career
And had many opportunities on your path
I watched you slowly slip away from us
Into your people of interest
Slowly my heart was turning numb to your feelings
So we decided to each go our own ways;
From afar we watched each other go about their duties
And remembered the moments we shared together
We walked on different paths with different motions and emotions;
As we pass by each other we feel our hearts beating at a faster rate
And that is when we realize we have become perfect yet familiar strangers.

Lady Pearl Hemans Poem
On the stony wall laid the handprints of heroes;
Their bloody prints serving as a reminder of the past
Their fight for freedom was a rocky journey
With the air mixed with the scents of blood and gun powder and the little voices of freedom in them
They fought for their country even though victory was lacking on their side.
Their hardwork, courage, determination and faith helped them through their journey
At the end of the day, even if they didn't win,
They knew their efforts had made a great change for their country.
The wall that separated their land and their enemy's land was that stony wall;
The wall where their handprints laid,
Paved way for their country to continue to fight for freedom and to not let their efforts go to the drain.
