Village by the Sea

Village by the Sea

In Bonanamo's haven, where echoes of the sea,
White sandy beaches, a cradle for dreams to be.
Glorious sunsets, a canvas painted bold,
A symphony of colors, a tale to be told.

Fishermen set sails with the first light's kiss,
Their hopes are woven in nets, a daily bliss.
Returning with catches when the winds decree,
In Bonanamo, the sea feeds a family.

Living by the shore, where the wind plays games,
Blowing sand gently, whispering sea-named names.
Under coconut palms, where shade finds its grace,
Mothers watch as children explore the saltwater's embrace.

Sunbeams dance on waters, a radiant ballet,
As kids take a dip in the cool of the day.
Market Square is alive with buai and smoke,
Gathered tales and laughter, a communal yoke.

In Bonanamo's heart, where stories intertwine,
The village thrives on a timeless design.
With each tide's rhythm and sunlit laughter,
Bonanamo lives on, a seaside chapter.

Bonds Unbroken: Sibling Love

In childhood days of laughter and play,
Side by side, we'd dance and sway.
Siblings bound by love so true,
Together in all that we'd pursue.

Through schoolyard antics and homework woes,
We'd face each challenge, our bond still grows.
Hand in hand, we'd face the tide,
With strength in unity, we'd never hide.

But as time flies on swift wings,
Life's changes bring new beginnings.
Work and school, they call our names,
Drawing us apart like different games.

Yet distance cannot break the ties,
That bind our hearts under azure skies.
For memories woven in childhood's embrace,
Forever hold us in their grace.

Though paths may lead us far apart,
The love we share will never depart.
Through marriages and life's grand schemes,
We'll cherish the bond of sibling dreams.

So let us treasure each fleeting day,
And hold dear the memories that stay.
For no matter where our journeys roam,
We'll always find our way back home.

Echoes of Farewells

In twilight's tender embrace, we stand,
Whispers of sorrow, drifting like sand.
Heart heavy with the weight of goodbyes,
Farewell echoes in tear-stained skies.

Ephemeral moments, like petals they fall,
Love's bittersweet melody, a haunting call.
Embraces linger, a fragile refrain,
In the symphony of loss, we dance with pain.

Eyes reflect galaxies, stories untold,
Aching souls in separation's cold hold.
Silent tears trace the map of goodbye,
As love's tapestry unravels, a somber sigh.

Promises falter, like autumn leaves descend,
Yet in the ache, a timeless bond we defend.
Memories linger, a solace in the night,
Stars witness our anguish, casting a dim light.

Fingers entwined, reluctant release,
Love's essence, a melancholy masterpiece.
In the realm of farewells, emotions entwine,
Aching hearts whisper, "Forever, be thine."

So here we part, on life's vast stage,
In the book of goodbyes, a poignant page.
Yet love transcends, an eternal tide,
In the echoes of farewells, our spirits abide.

A Father's Journey in Education: Retirement Reflections

In halls of learning, wisdom's crown,
Stood a dad with love profound.
His days of guiding minds are done,
But memories bright, they'll still be spun.

With patience vast and knowledge deep,
He stirred young hearts from sleep.
In every lesson, a gentle hand,
Guiding futures, shaping lands.

Though he bids the classroom adieu,
His legacy, forever true.
For in the hearts of those he taught,
His wisdom's flame will ne'er be caught.

Retirement beckons, a tranquil shore,
Where dreams anew he'll now explore.
But in the tapestry of days gone by,
His influence, a soaring sky.

So here's to you, dear dad of mine,
Your journey's end, a grand design.
Your teachings echo, forever near,
In every mind you've helped steer.

As you retire with grace and cheer,
Know your impact is crystal clear.
In the story of education's art,
You'll forever hold a cherished part.

The Shadow's Embrace: A Tale of Love and Loss

In the shadows where silence reigns,
Death's icy touch, no soul refrains.
A whisper soft, a chilling breath,
Steals away, the sting of death.

In the depths of night, where fears abide,
Grim specter lurks, where shadows hide.
With hollow eyes and ghostly stare,
It claims its prize, with little care.

A mother weeps, her child now gone,
In sorrow's grasp, she's left alone.
A lover's cry, a heart undone,
As life fades into the setting sun.

But in the darkness, a glimmer of light,
A hope that shines, through endless night.
For though death's grip may seem so vast,
Love's memory, forever lasts.

So hold dear those you hold so tight,
In love's embrace, find solace in sight.
For though death's call may come to be,
In love's embrace, we're forever free.

Redemption's Journey: The Passion of Christ

Upon the cross, He hung in pain,
His body broken, His spirit strained.
The weight of sin upon His frame,
In agony, He took the blame.

The sky grew dark, the earth did quake,
Creation wept for His dear sake.
Betrayed by one, denied by three,
Alone He faced Gethsemane.

In silence, He embraced the night,
As tears fell down like drops of light.
"My God, my God," His anguished cry,
Echoed beneath the darkened sky.

But in His death, redemption found,
For in the grave, hope did abound.
For on the third day, He arose,
Conquering death, our greatest foes.

Though sorrow lingers, hope remains,
In Christ's sacrifice, our sins He stains.
So let us weep, yet not despair,
For in His love, He's always there.

Eighteen Years Too Late: Echoes of Regrets

In the tapestry of time, a story is spun,
Of hearts entwined beneath the sun.
It began in the halls of youth's embrace,
Where two souls met, face to face.

In the halls of Primary, their eyes did meet,
A silent exchange, a moment sweet.
Both admired, yet silence reigned,
In their hearts, a love restrained.

Through the years of Secondary's call,
In class 11b and 12b, they stood tall.
But amidst the whispers and shared glances,
Their love remained mere happenstances.

She had her beau, he had his flame,
Yet their hearts danced to a silent refrain.
In the corridors of academia, they tread,
But the words of love remained unsaid.

With graduation's bell, their paths diverged,
She left for distant lands, her heart submerged.
He too ventured forth, seeking his fate,
But her memory lingered, a cherished weight.

In the bustling streets of Boroko's sprawl,
A chance encounter, fate's silent call.
But courage faltered, words went astray,
As he watched her fade, heart in disarray.

Years rolled by like waves on sand,
Yet she remained, a guiding hand.
Facebook brought a glimmer of hope,
As he reached out, tethered to love's rope.

A present, a note, on her birthday's dawn,
A meeting arranged, to right a wrong.
But doubts lingered, fears abounded,
As they stood apart, their hearts confounded.

She smiled, he stumbled, lost in her grace,
The echoes of their past, a bittersweet embrace.
But time slipped away, like tears in rain,
Leaving him haunted by what might have been.

Life moved on, paths diverged,
But her presence remained, his heart surged.
Until fate's hand, at his Uncle's memorial,
Brought them together, in a bittersweet spell.

Her anger softened, as she drew near,
A hug shared, a moment dear.
But questions lingered, unanswered still,
As he watched her leave, heart heavy with ill.

Across oceans wide, a continent apart,
Their lives unfolded, connected by heart.
Until one day, a message came,
A voice from the past, igniting love's flame.

Hours passed, words flowed,
As they poured out their hearts, emotions aglow.
Regrets voiced, apologies made,
In the silence of night, love's serenade played.

But time cannot be rewound, nor wounds undone,
And though their love endured, battles were won.
For in the tapestry of life, regrets may fade,
But love's eternal flame will never degrade.

So let this tale be a lesson learned,
Of love's resilience, though bridges burned.
For in the end, what matters most,
Is the love we give, our hearts engrossed.

With fond memories, E.

A Mother's Love: Eternal Treasures

In the dawn's gentle light, a miracle did unfold,
A mother's love, pure and bold.
Through the pains she bore, her heart did soar,
As she welcomed her child, whom she adored.

Sleepless nights, weary eyes, yet she never falters,
Her love, a beacon that never alters.
With tender care, she watched her child grow,
Guiding with wisdom, her love on full show.

Every sacrifice, every tear she shed,
In her arms, we found our bed.
Her love, a treasure, beyond compare,
In our hearts, forever cherished, always there.

So here's to our mum, our guiding light,
In her embrace, everything feels right.
Her love, a gift, we'll forever treasure,
In our hearts, it blooms, an eternal pleasure.
