Heather Patterson Poem
My little sister is my best friend.
We'll be together 'till the end
I've spent my life right by her side
And I've wiped away her tears whenever she's cried
I love her more than anything on this earth
And I can remember right after her birth
I told my mom I have a lil' sis
And that I change the first diaper...I insist
Wow, was that a mistake
The contents in the diaper was enough for a lake!
I can remember her first word
And I just wish it would'a been nerd
She blurted out "read!"
And thats what I tried to do .. indeed
But at eighteen months thats alot to ask
'Cause just holding up the book is a hard task
I recall times when we'd play dolls
And when I'd watch her color on walls
Everything about my sister is special to me
Even if she is blind as a bat, and cannot see
But even though we argue like dogs and cats
I love her and thats a fact

Heather Patterson Poem
Together we're inseparable
But apart were exposed and alone
We're completely different...
Yet your like my clone
Sometimes I just don't get you
Other times your practically me
I know what your going through
But then I just can't see
Why you are how you are
Or why you act the way you do
But then I just get thinking
That our closeness is bizarre
I can tell you everything
and not worry who you'll tell
I wouldn't give up anything
for a friendship that's this swell
