Shadow In the Wind

lonely in mind
together in spirit
i feel left
but you say right
is this us
or is this i
held by feeling
giving by trust
taken by spirit
you try lust
do we have
or do we not
it it the feeling
or is it not
am i to be inside myself
or stuck outside you
is their a future
or just a memory

Feeling In the Middle

How do we see when the world is so wet
do we fit in to the lives that are made for us
or are we shadows into the world that we set
with our stars ever so far away
as the memory of begining is gone
to wander the world is a thought to the end

Love Hurts Actually

everything just blurs together
the colors fade away
levaing only black and white
words mean so little
i feel im falling through myself
i can feel every break in my self
i feel so alone lost and used up
dried without a line to hang onto
i feel that heavy sinking feeling all over again
i cant even feel the right feeling to feel
all i know is im a prisoner
and i cry for the death of my heart

Six Feet Deep

i kissed the sky to move the stars
to feign the past with the present mind
in the dreams i'm always somewhere else
in my soul i'm never there
i opened my door to see the day
but night comes in so i stay
it goes like this through all time
till i find a small light
then at night i travel alone
but at least i can see how far under i am

A Diffrent Kind of Thing

held into the corner
down by my hand
with empty pockets
im all over town
the music plays
i dance around
with money in mind
and desire to find
it's all over in sunshine
and begining at night
for fellow to find him
i found him quite stong
down to begining
an evening high
we say nothing
no one passes by
i drink in the shadow
still we mange to find ourselves
we gave it away
i never took myself serious
oh to be young was all we were
so i siad nothing to say
we danced all night
our usual dance
we have no money
but all of us rich
never to live alone
only to die young
forgiven for being old
we took to the sky
always our hands held high
but as the morning comes
we drift apart
with our lovers we find
we kiss till the moon comes down

In the Arms of Bed

given the fingers for which to touch
the lips pressed close to kiss a cheek
to stroke the face when knowing of sleep
to whisper the words of love into the deafend ear
could the darkness conceal the tears
or will we last the life time promised
every night i hope for the next
for love old and given new
im afraid to say but nothing matters anyway

Past Addictions

I'm so fashioned to live within these walls
ever stepping into the colour of light
a mask to wear to shade my true name
cold to touch for my fingers were my veins
my knees but of raw blood and bone
how i prayed upon them for a dream
i felt the love shoot through my body
alas a pain that still lingers on

Gone For Tomorrow

feeling of old has returned once again
the scent of the steel as i taste my own mind
the blood that comes can only be mine
so lost and alone i feel my empty heart
crushing and broken all feeling is lost
all i need is to see in your eyes
the love that i have doesnt hold you inside
so i feel that the steel is the way i can be
i feel the heart gone from you to me
i think its broken because i no longer cry
it hurts not to think or to think of you
its so dead in my heart that i feel so cold
how long till this steel makes me fade away

Stolen By Me

awakened by the sound of only myself
i have only myself to blame
only my empty cup to drain
i feel the nothing that i felt back then
this is what love is this is the emptiness
