Six Feet Deep

i kissed the sky to move the stars
to feign the past with the present mind
in the dreams i'm always somewhere else
in my soul i'm never there
i opened my door to see the day
but night comes in so i stay
it goes like this through all time
till i find a small light
then at night i travel alone
but at least i can see how far under i am
