the cries of a young girls pain

The cries of a young girls pain

As I walk up these stairs, guess what I see?
I see a family of two, with the faces of glee
When you look into my eyes
You'll never know the pain that's inside
Think of a flower that has begun to wilt
This girl in front of you has a lot of doubt she has dealt
Do not weep do not sob
Instead think of corn on the cob
As you eat the corn, you throw the cob away
The girl with horns is now in misery
The sounds of smack against her skin
The light in her eyes has begun to dim
The flower, once young and beautiful, is now old and dead
Just like this girl, she is still young and beautiful, but she is now old and dead in her head
The sounds of silent cries echoes in her room
The girl wonders if this is her doom
As you hear the sounds of screams
You'll never hear her cries and weeps as she dreams
As you hear laughter roaming in the halls
You'll never hear her weep, her tears now as waterfalls
Quicksand that has pulled you in quick
Is the mind of this girl which has begun to sink
As she gets snitched by her brother
She still wishes she had her mother and grandmother
    "I'm sending you away!"
Well...let's just hope I"ll be put into a good family
As I write this just know
For this is my story of pain but to show that I also grow
Do not worry for what I've put here
Do not shed a single tear
For my name is Myia (My-ee-uh) and I am a survivor
I am stronger and I will not keep silence any longer

      The end
