Visiting the Cemetery In Autumn

I dropped by the cemetery in weather unfair
The trees nearby were almost bare
It was an Autumn day , windy cold
One could sense a new season about to unfold
A time of inevitable change or impending doom
A new beginning or the ending tapestry on some eternal loom

The moan of wind and creak of oaks was the only sound
While countless fallen leaves littered the ground
Dead leaves that had seen their season
In this burial place beyond reason
Some drop by in remembrance of a kin
Or perhaps its an air to think in
I Guess i dropped by to reflect
Certainly not have i come to pay last respects.

The Sky

As i lay in the meadow my face to the sky
I like to watch the birds in the blue as they fly
They soar the great heights in that immense home up above
To be in that place up there is what i would love

The warmth of the sun , i am nearly dozing off
To dream of heavenly places beyond the dross
Drifting with the wind up up and away
On this glorious , sunny yet fleeting day

The clouds forever sail across that endless sea
That place up there is like an ocean to me
I know that sometimes blue turns to gray
But as for me i wish the sky to remain this way.
