Akamo Muyideen Poem
My country is under a siege
That's why I write a dirge
My country is falling apart
'cause her leaders have taken the wrong path
The land is full of greed
Remember, That's not what we agreed
Masses continually wallow in pain
Yet our cries is often in vain
Nigeria is another old today
Then it's falling away
The youths they refused to give the way
The old have refused to call it a day
While they have ship in the deep
And , masses continually killed like sheep
Corruption, nepotism, there watch words
Neglected, the constitution as their watch dog
Which has been known to the world
Nigeria, The sleeping Giant
With Great lands of hope
Lush vegetation by nature provided
Where diverse icons of Erudite are awarded
In the past we uttered corrupt masters
In the present we call , kleptomaniac in their fingers
Nigerians, independence we cried out for
Unity In diverse they preach
In the inns we hope to reach
As they've democratically persuaded to teach
We had the freedom to be free
But has been more strong weaker
Nigeria my country is about to fall
That's why I am making a call.

Our warm conversation that makes my day
You always have the sweetest things to say
I sleeping right now and dreaming away
I hope you know I miss you in every way
Your beauty so bright and warm
Shining through the darkest storm
That gave me light to my soul
And helped me to be whole
What I wouldn't do to be next to you
Hunting my fingers through your hair like I do
With my arm wrapped around you tight
Gripped you all through the night
As Your lips so soft and Red
Thought of kissing you is stick in my head
Your eyes sparkles like stars in the night sky
As I stare into them I feel like, I am soaring high
Your love withstand all my pains
Even when it seems your beauty stains
During the sunny and heavy rains
Your labour will not go in vain.

Akamo Muyideen Poem
When I am without her
The sun doesn't shine as brightly
When I am without her,
The clouds are dark and foreboding
When I am without her,
The birds doesn't sing as sweetly.
When I am with her,
she holds me, my emotions makes it clear
To have more strength to move mountains.
When I am with her,
Her touch so soft but strong,
In my heart that beats with rhythm,
Like a thunderstorm.
When I am with her,
She wraps me in her warm embrace,
Close and comfort me, throughout the night
Until the eyes sight the daylight.
When I am with her,
Her smile and on her black shining face,
Like a flash of an Eagle, was very soul.
That's brings happiness to my sadness.
When i am with her,
She kisses me before I start a day,
That heal all weaknesses of my body,
With her soft and different cuddle styles.
You're the one I can't live without
Anyone can tell you, they love you,
Anyone can flatter you, and tell you, you're beautiful
Anyone can promise you the world
And the stars,and finest things of life
There is no doubt,
And I want you to know that , I'm not "anyone "
I want to be the "one .
