Bethany Sloan Poem
Young hearts that start to race
Old flames that begin to embrace
A group of friends with looks that could kill
In a California town called Beverly Hills
He's with Her, She's with Him
Magical things happen as the lights start to di,
Love that's so true, it feels oh' so right
Just as pure and as fresh as a cool Autumn's night
Drinking, hangovers, partying, and barfights
Your heart won't go down without all of your might
Pangs of guilt and regretful sorrows
Something that may or may not be remembered tommorow
People come and friends go
As well as relationships that die and grow
Hopes are crushed and dreams are achieved
Help from our friends when we start to grieve
Compassion and Love fills the air
For lots of people with lots of flare
A group of friends with looks that could kill
In a California town called Beverly Hills

Bethany Sloan Poem
Eyes that sparkle like the sea
As brown as cups of cold ice tea
A smile that easily lights up the room
Without a single trace of doom
Lips so gentle, I feel no fright
Just as soft and as a rich as a warm Summer's night
A hold, a touch from morning till night
One simple plan that feels just right
Two lives that are waiting to begin
We can only hope that it will never end

Bethany Sloan Poem
How do you know you love someone?
That feeling of breathlessness when they walk into the room
The way your heart skips a beat when you see them smile
That cloud nine feeling you get when you're around them, and the feeling you get when
you're not
How do you know you love someone?
The way they hold your hand
The way they make you smile
The way they say your name
and the way they make you feel
How do you know you love someone?
Knowing that you've found your lifelonf partner, your lifelong true love, your lifelong
soulmate
Loving, caring, fighting, understanding, joy, and laughter
Seeing the good in them, when no one else can
Loving them unconditionally, knowing and trusting that they feel the same way
It's the age old question
How do you know you love someone?
Well, sometimes you just know

Bethany Sloan Poem
When my heart does the talking, I always say yes
When my heart does the talking, my life's always a mess
Distinguising characteristics, eyes that are so blue
How can I be so bling, to never see the truth
Your touch is something I cannon resist, one as soft and as gentle as a cool Autumn's mist
Hoping and Dreaming that things will change
Is like getting a cowboy off his range
I've finally learned my lesson, I've finally seen the light
Your eyes and your touch are no match for what's right
Now, when my heart does the talking, I always say no
For when my heart does the talking, I have a place to go
